Hello, there^^ I enjoyed your video about travel record in Seoul. I just want to add some train information on it. If you want to go to Seoul station from Incheon airport, there're 2types of trains. One is all stop train and another one is express train. Express train has changed to deposit system for a ticket. So it costs 8,500won including 5,00won deposit. When you arrive at Seoul station, you can get a deposit back by the machine. Moreover, it has assigned seat for passengers. It makes feel more comfortable on the train. Have a geat day^^

I recognized that exit from Seoul Station. I've walked from there to my hotel many times....carrying luggage. It was all uphill. I was keeping my fingers crossed that you would cross the street and continue my walk. Interesting back streets though.

Wow Cory, you were right in front of my home at Seoul Asterium Apartments. This is my neighborhood and I go through these alleys all the time. I think we are almost neighbors. Wifey and I explore all the back streets. We should go exploring together sometime.

06:15 the car has a I-Seoul-U sticker on the rear window. Guess it wasn't the major, but prolly belongs to the city, huh?
@CoryMay817 жыл бұрын
Yeah, probably a government-owned vehicle. I don't think normal citizens would ever put that sticker on their car.

Hi Cory, it must be so very cold that people sleep all day and inside. The neighborhood is so empty of people. And fruit markets keep friuts outside lucky they are not frozen.

21:30 How do the people drive their car into the garage of the house at a narrow back alley? Or do they give up owing a car?
@CoryMay812 жыл бұрын
If they have a car, they might have a paid parking spot nearby. But many people don't have cars, only bicycles. And they commute by train or bus.

which exit of seoul station i should take if i wanna go to that rainbow stairs?

I'm curious, for those living in these narrow alleys, where do they park their vehicles at night???
@CoryMay817 жыл бұрын
In Seoul city, many people do not own vehicles. Public transportation is fantastic in Seoul, so that's what the majority of people use. If they have a car, there's usually a designated parking spot nearby or maybe a parking garage nearby that they park at. Motorcycles and mopeds usually just park right outside their house/building. I lived in Seoul for almost 5 years, and I used public transportation every day (or I walked). I miss that. ^^

Question.... do they allow smoking in Korea?
@CoryMay816 жыл бұрын
Yeah, many people smoke cigarettes, especially men. They usually pick up the bad habit during their 2 year mandatory military service, as a recreational thing they do to pass the time. Cigarette prices were raised in 2014 or 2015 to try and make people cut down, but that didn't work. Vaping is also huge now, many younger people vape these days.

Cory & Marie 코리 & 마리 ah really? well thankyou anyway xD btw, I'm a new subscriber and I was curious, is Marie a vegetarian? and if she is, what korean food would she recommend that's suitable not only for vegans, but for vegetarians and pescetarian ^^ and what's the best district to find them? thanks!

What is the name of the Corean cooking dish or spice that smells like marijuana? I want to know so I can know what marijuana smells like!

The explicit grafitti..and the fact that it's in English made me so confused! It sucks but like...who exactly did it I wouldn't even know. Weird.

How do you know what marijuana smells like? It's very illegal in Corea. Have you ever lived in an area where it's legal so you can see it and smell it?

Love the alley walks. Going through alley ways brings you right through the old parts. Walking the heart of Seoul. Miss it there, then having to come back to the US to see all the riots and rallies to remove Trump, and he is always all over the news. Used to be the Kardashians were annoying, now it's Trump. Want to come and stay in Korea forever.
