I don’t consider myself a doubter of God.. in no way do I believe God doesn’t not see nor hear nor know all that is us. But I do question the sources and the agendas of some. I hope that God truly sees me. A sinner, a person who is human in everyway, flaws, imperfect but also aware and constantly reflecting upon their own errors.. maybe too much. I’ve been mislead as a child to see God in a way that as an adult I know God not to be.. I fear God because I am not strong and know enough to stand firm against what I do not know.. I feel so alone in this trial called life and don’t feel I am supported either supernaturally or by human involvement.. I am hurting, but I feel God wanted me to hurt to kill the places of joy in me that serve me no good.. even if I found entertainment or comfort in it, I feel God wants me to go blank.. become a clean slate for him to write upon…but then what of the effort and skill I’ve developed over the years..only to eventually feel it was all for not.. I dunno. I just pray and hope that God sees me for exactly who I am

Dear tormented One God does know you completely.He is calling you to repentance; turning away from sin and selfish desires. Surrender your ambitions and accomplishment. Of human effort they are of no worth from an eternal perspective. Turn to GOD through faith in HIS Only begotten SON ,JESUS THE CHRIST, the sin bearer for All who put their trust in HIS accomplished work on the cross for our redemption; made to again have a right standing with GOD through the obedience of HIS Son on our behalf. Yes then your slate is wiped clean and GOD will write His laws on your heart and give you a desire and the ability to do that which is pleasing to GOD. HE made us for His good will and purpose,to bring Him the glory and praise that HE Alone is worthy of. On this path and in this pursuit is true fulfillment, to know and do His good pleasure. May GOD open the eyes of your heart to Know HIM WHO IS the Way the Truth and the Life.

I'm sorry for you, for our true happiness is found in Christ Jesus our blessed savior. God does see you and knows you better than you know yourself. Do you have faith? By faith we can see the invisible. Faith is also a gift from God so ask God to give you faith. Oh, please read your bible everyday and never stop praying, for only then will you find God. "If you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me," promises our God. Remember, God is always willing to save the lost sinner, for that is one of the reasons Christ came. True happiness and freedom comes when you give yourself to God and seek peace with Him. God loves you so that He gave His only begotten Son to die for your sins and desires you to turn to Him and find rest. It's all up to you. Are you willing to have God to be your God and friend and your all? May God bless you 🙏🌹

Something I can say is that God will remove the things in your life that become an obstacle for you to surrender, or that which you idolize more than Him. He does empty you so He can fill you up. He disciplines those whom He loves.

Brother, you start with “I don’t doubt” but then the rest says you hope. He created and designed you for His purposes. He loves you and would have offered Himself for you if you were the only one who needed it. He can that we might have life, and that abundantly. Serve Him with your gifts and talents. Work your sphere of influence. We are to be empty and clean vessels through which He can pour into His living water that others can drink from.
