I had books and I loved it. The documentation with photographies is more than 100 years old and impressive. I used my imagination to travel and when I visited Egypt for the first time in reality, it was very close to the images I had in mind. I like animated worlds, but I don't miss a thing by reading a book and studying historical descriptions. There are also awesome drawings and paintings of Egypt's temples and cities created by explorers of the 19th century with amazingly accurate details of frescos. Check them out online, they're worth a search :)

@Amir.Atrees I only used that name to stablish a clear diference between the actual country of Egypt and the political entity called Kemet. Both have several differences between them, such us the culture, language, etc.. Affirm that Kemet and the actual Egypt, it is the same political entity is false, otherwise they might be the same people or, at least, the actual egyptians decendants from the ancient egyptians or kemites.

Due to my fascination with ancient Egypt, this was my favorite game. I spent countless hours playing it. I completed it 100% along with all the DLCs. Later, I had the chance to actually visit Egypt. It was magnificent... Although the central urbanized areas have changed a lot, once you leave the city, you can still see that the spirit of ancient Egypt is very much alive.

Easily one of the best depictions in a game of ancient Egypt, the level of realism and arcutectural accuracy was made possible with the immense research undertaken in this games development. Its as close to what ancient Egypt would of been like as is probably possible to depict. The underworld and afterlife elements of Assassin's Creed Origins, are equally amazing and fascinating, and again are based on accurate Egyptian beliefs of the afterlife. Am still playing this game, alone with Odyssey, the two best assassins creed games by far. I don't think the cut down latest assassins creed game 'Mirage' will be as good, it seems heavily scripted, very short game, and a small map size. Give me Origins and Odyssey any day.

There should be made even older Assassins Creed, from the times of greatest power of Ancient Egypt, when the great Pyramids were build, or when Djoser ruled. That would be something better even than Origins. But we should be able to loot the tombs, take from them more golden stuff and gold. It's one of those tiny problems in Origins, Bayek is poor and naive, he has no money but when he sees treasure he refuse to take all that gold. We leave the treasures intact and go killing and stealing 200gold from soldiers😅😅😅.
@thenovicewhispers11 ай бұрын
Agreed. Mirage was fun but the narrative focus makes the gameplay progression feel pointless. By the time I unlocked the best skills and tools I only had a handful of main cases to finish. The story was good and helped expand the lore, but the removal of any out-of-Animus experience/modern plot disappointed me greatly. It was a fun game, but it made me miss Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla very much. I'm replaying Origins on NG+ right now. I also thought Basim's Assassin Focus ability was cool. You can kill a maximum of 5 enemies with it, but the forts and camps are so small that I never really got to use the ability to its full potential that often. The Great Garrison was the biggest fortress in the game, but the Walls of the Ruler in AC Origins and Ptolemy's Palace make Mirage's one fortress seem like a tiny base camp. I hope that the next AC games have something more to offer. I miss exploring entire districts and countries, skulking through royal palaces with hundreds of guards and many secrets...Mirage didn't give me the same sense of wonder the previous three games did.
@eddiesmith56174 ай бұрын
Absolutely. I also think it's one of the best depictions of Ancient Egypt PERIOD. Seriously. They did a great job with it. It's true to the actual ethnicities of the people and really got specific when you get to Greco/Roman occupied areas of the map...The people had more European/Mediterranean features. The architecture had the same attention to detail. Astounding. The best AC game ever.

This HAS TO BE an alternative dimension, it looks TOO REAL to be just a game! 😫😫💙🧡 OH the wonders of Herakleion...WAIT, why is it there a person speaking English in Ancient Egypt??
@sacredsecrecy9620 Жыл бұрын
Well, the game might look real in some places, but it certainly doesn't feel like it when you play it. I played the game on release, hoping it would give me the same immersive experience that Unity did before. However, Origin's OW is, contrast to its optics, very dull, empty, boring, bare of any soul or passion, and feels very artificial due to poor animated NPC, voiced by only 3-4 voices constantly repeating the same lines over and over and over. The fauna is also dead. All animal encounters are the same, the attacks are predictable, no challenging, dynamic fights whatsoever. Also the repetitive gameplay with dozens of outposts and hundreds of marked locations with all the same "treasures" which always contain useless underpowered weapons and junk. The OW is nothing but a backdrop for mindless and tedious busy work and grind in order for you to level up so you can open a new pointless location on the map. I dropped that game eventually and never came back to it because I just couldn't take its brainless gameplay anymore. And I felt all the more let down because I'm a HUGE fan of the Ancient Egypt. It was a huge mistake on Ubisoft's part to go from the Action-Adventure into the Action RPG genre. Now the AC series have become so stale and generic. All they have to offer anymore are those pretty backdrops aka ginormous open worlds, but that's all there is to them. The games themselves have lost all their soul, charme and identity, it's all the same cookie cutter formula copy and pasted all over all of Ubisoft's recent releases and it's just so sad and disappointing. I used to love Ubisoft's games, they were so creative, fun and engaging...! Now they're just surving a purpose of printing money for a creatively bankrupt corporation that couldn't care less about the quality of its products.
