Lublin is my city. I was born here in the Old Town, I have lived here for 12 years. Dominican Church. Castle - museum. During World War II, in 1939-1945, there was a German prison here.

Merci beaucoup !

Me gustó Lublin!

Hello from Germany 🇩🇪🥰 first time I see your video amazing love it. Which do you usu video editor? Please ❤️
@poptravelorg3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I use no video editor. The original video is only encoded to a smaller bitrate (37.5 MBit) with QuickTime on my MacBook Pro (late 2013). The intro is overlayed with some FFMPEG magic over the first 6 seconds only.. Thanks for watching

End of August '21 I was able to get to some of the few Polish cities that were left to visit. More Krakow / Wroclaw is also coming - which look especially nice during summer... Thanks for watching!

It seems it was badly ruined during WW2 but didn't fully restored to it's past glory. The Scars are too rough and bold the body of this city. I think the pictures of old Lublin citizens that are on the windows of old buildings has lots of stories to tell
@user-mh2uj7ns6h3 жыл бұрын
No, it's just the government of the city didn't care about the buildings. Yes, Lublin was badly damaged during WW2. But it was restored, even the old town buildings were rebuild to almost identical state, what you see are the decades of negligence by the city council. Plus lots of buildings on the old town are empty and abandoned as nobody wanted to leave there and old people died out. Pretty sad and influriating to see this.

@@user-mh2uj7ns6h thanks for the info, I guessed maybe negligence is at play here

Interesting suggestion. I'll see when I get to Zamość - maybe next year. I was in nearby Rzeszow this summer: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpaTqaqBgrONmrs - another visit to Lviv / Lwów is also happening hopefully

Very nice city with friendly people, good restaurants, phenomenal architecture. Lublin is quite cheap compared to Warsaw, Cracow, Gdańsk but salaries also don't reach the level of those three cities I mentioned (especially Warsaw). You have to calculate and make a decision.
