This has always been one of my favorite songs. I once lived less than an hour drive to Memphis and so loved the area. I know some of the places mentioned in the song. Mark Cohn is the original singer as far as I know. Declan does a good job singing this great song. :-)

Born and raised in Memphis. I have always hated this song, but this young man has made me love it. I just recently discovered this amazing talent and I absolutely love everything I have heard, from his first album to the last EP he just released. To me it's like listening to 4 different artists as his voice changed and each one is amazing. It's a shame he doesn't have more recognition.

Marc Cohn, who wrote this song, would be very proud of this interpretation. Another fabulous performance. Declan has become a man at 16 in voice, stamina, confidence and performance. He has recently filled out in both height and weight with a more mature look(not bad!!) and with great style.
