Thanks for uploading this video. I lived in Ernakulam from 1986 to 1990. Feeling nostalgic to view TD Road, Padma Theatre etc. I can't forget Bharath Tourist Home, Dwaraka Hotel, bus people shouting 'Padma, Aluva" at the bus stop near Coir Board office in Pallimukku, my travel by boats in backwaters, Cochin Carnival on new year day, Valanjambalam, Krishna Temple in Ravipuram... Of course the major difference between then and now is the flyover I see in the video and so many new businesses and shops.

Looks quite similar to Bangkok, Thailand. Is the smog also so bad there? And speaking about Thailand: Is it in India about the same with the mosquios? In Thailand for example you only can wear long pants. (and the temperatures are quite high there)

I think the main reason for that is the lack of parking space in MG Road. People are forced to park their vehicles, even their cars too, in the footpath. That's why those footpath tiles are getting damages. The govt has taken various measures in the past for beautification of Kochi ☺️ Let's hope everything will workout well.

Two wheelers & two wheelers parked on foot path ? Trading on road side on trolleys , unsafe & dangerous flooring of foot path, no way a blind person can walk through with his white stick on foot path .broken hand rails dangerous to road users , no law & order on road as all are coming from brocken families , we can see from how these vehicle users are living in their own homes when they come out on road ! Their back ground may be pathetic !
