I am nearly trembling...after much ponder had just gotten thru posting on your other newscast HOW THANKFUL I was to be "under your flock". I have been really burdened of late with recently noting EXACTLY what your SITTING just covered. My heart had been discouraged with friends that have "jumped fence" and now are drifting away. On all accounts I SAW it happen. You can gently nudge or loudly shout but if not prayed up (washed in the WORD) in THIS environment you can QUICKLY be nabbed up by ha'Shatan! . As "lambs" it is imperative to STAY PARKED in Abbas WORD now more than ever. I THANK him for keeping me each day. I am noticing the difference between LIGHT and darkness like never before. What joy is available to ALL with peace of mind and spirit. Talk to Elohim...READ about Him daily. His WORD teaches ALL who look! What a berachah (blessing) - a *rare* mattan (gift) - to have a natural father who mirrors Abba, Father's, Way with his son and a Proverbs 31 mother, too. Not only did it benefit your walk with Elohim lesson by lesson, it gave you the ultimate culmination of all those lessons, a collective understanding of *how* to be a spiritual father to all of us. That song had me in tears... so beautiful... the number 9 has significance in my life lately. My life partner and me have the number 9 in our birthdates and it always ends up in everything that has to do with us. She's 18 of Jan. 8+1=9. I'm 9 Nov. When I came to Turkey, my plane terminal was 11 (another number that comes up with us all the time, which is November, my birth month). So many other things come up in our life with the number 9 especially.

The analogy of the baby being breastfed is perfect Alan. My Mom didn't breast feed me. I guess back in 1960 everyone was bottle feeding the babies, and she fed me some sort of canned or powdered garbage. Every time she talks about my babyhood, I hear about how hard she had it because I cried with colic for 3 months. Of course I cried for 3 months ! Who knows what was in that stuff back then. I imagine it the very same with being fed the wrong milk, or maybe even, not enough milk, from the Word. You're always hungry and malnourished until you get the good stuff. It doesn't take long until you want meat either !! If you're a vegetarian, maybe tofu :-) ,

Sadly, I think it was the *ubiquitous* book by stupid Dr. Spock that convinced women that formula was better than breast milk. Talk about the wisdom of the world! There was so much baloney in that book that poisoned families from formula feeding to letting the kids rule the roost. UGH!

Many Believers do make that mistake, Joanne, because we're taught that being a "Christian" means being a "dishrag for Jesus." Yuhshua Himself is BOLD and authoritative - look how he dressed down the Pharisees calling them vipers and the sons of Satan! To follow Him we are to be like Him, but the "Church" at large ignores that side of our Mashiach. The *great* thing is that your heart is for Him and able to bend to the Truth even when it conflicts what what you've been taught. HalleluYAH!!!

Question for Alan: How come YHWH's name was revealed to Moses? Before that time, He made Himself known as El Shaddai. I ask because Ive seen confusion from people saying YHWH and El are different people.

Actually, Elohim made His Name known in the very beginning! Eve proclaimed, “I have gained a man from YHWH”, when she gave birth (Genesis 4:1). Abraham called the mountain YHWH Yireh, Isaac, Jacob, Sarah, they ALL knew His Name. ☺️. This is clear if you have a restored names version of the Father’s Word. Otherwise, the Name of YHWH is sadly missing. Going back through Alan’s Walking in the Words and saw this question. What a blessing Alan was and is!! Shalom and birekoth! ⛺️⛺️

Don’t know if you ever got the answer to your question, but I’m seeing a horrible teaching that you mentioned originally here, that there are two different “Gods”, YHWH and El. NO! They are One in the Same. El is a title, YHWH is His Name. This confusion stems from a bad punctuation error in Exodus 6:3, where YHWH tells Moshe, “I appeared to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as El Shaddai, but by My Name, YHWH, was I not known to them?” There should be a QUESTION mark at the end of this verse. Most versions have a period instead of a question mark, which makes the sentence make absolutely no sense. It should read, “…and by My Name, YHWH, was I not known to them?” Yes-they all knew His Name was YHWH. Alan talks about this in his article “The Sacred Shem Revelation” which is an EXCELLENT essay on how the Name of YHWH went missing from His Word nearly 7000 times. Shalom and blessings!
