We are in Warsaw (Polish: Warszawa), the capital and largest city of Poland. Another walk ( • Walking in WARSAW / Po... ) covered the centre and old town and on this tour we walk a different route - further into the new town.
This walking tour starts at the Palace of Culture and Science (Pałac Kultury i Nauki) which is a Soviet style building from the 1950s and with 237 metres also the tallest building in Poland. We continue towards the Złote Tarasy Shopping mall and the nearby Warsaw Central Station (Warszawa Centralna).
From there we head through the New Town towrads the Old Town via the Chmielna Street and Nowy Świat. We pass the Frédéric Chopin museum as we enter the Royal Route (Trakt Królewski) with a number of historic landmarks.
We explore the Old Town that was rebuilt after the destruction that WWII brought to the city and end the walk with the coming night at Warsaw's Old Town Market Place,

Poles has proven that humans are capable of everything. They converted Warsaw from ashes in 1945 to ultra modern city in just 70 years. This is called dedication and determination. I am from India and really love Poland. I wish our people/government could learn something from it despite of giving excuses for not doing the proper work.

Thank you! I still have videos to post until 2021 though I hop to be able to travel again. Good luck with your channel. It took poptravel 65 videos over 6 month to reach the first 1000 subscribers. As a hint - the algorithm seems to value consistency so 2 or more videos per week seem good for that type of content and niche - walking videos are unlikely to go viral 😎. I'm still learning how to make better videos. The Osmo Pocket has some limits with stabilisation and low light yet it's great fun to use and a valuable exercise. Also: the consistent thumbnail style seems to be OK. If you have time to edit and enhance content you may want to check out Prowalk Tour's channel - with little highlights at the beginning etc. this is more work for more rewards. Have fun!

@@poptravelorg WOW! Thanks a lot for the advice and the kind words really appreciate it! How do you deal with shaky footage? Do you edit it? I have a gopro hero 8 but even with the boost stabilization on is still kinda shaky. One more issue would be the color grading do you have any advice on it?
@poptravelorg
@poptravelorg 4 жыл бұрын
All good. I don't edit the videos. The later videos with somewhat less wind noise have a 6 second intro in front that I edit in with a ffmpeg script. 4K60 footage is too time consuming to edit as I simply merge the videos / audio on my 2013 MacBook Pro and then upload. As for the shakiness: The Osmo Pocket has a little gimbal so it looks somewhat smooth though larger gimbals surely provide smoother stabilization. If you boost the electronic stabilization of the GoPro and it's still shaky you may need a gimbal or chose to do tours with a chest mount on a bicycle or scooter or car... The up/down movement cannot be stabilized without additional gear though if you have powerful hardware maybe additional XY axis stabilization can come with an editing program and GPU acceleration. I'd check other walking channels using a GoPro as they usually post their gear. I'm sure those who use GoPros for longer tours use an extra gimbal.

It's mostly comfort and a technical reason as the Osmo Pocket isn't mounted on a stick like a gimbal+camera combo. The benefit though is that the camera doesn't film the faces too much which could be an issue especially in the EU. The lower perspective is also seen in movies though for me it is the comfort as I hold the camera-mic-powerbank-rig in my hand and don't lift it to face level or above. As most people watch these walks while sitting, the perspective is actually also realistic with kid-level height 😎

Warsaw. Both towns are beautiful. But Warsaw has kind of magic mixed with serenity and wit. It has much more historical monuments and beautiful buildings: medieval, baroque, rococo, neoclassical, art deco (not all were destroyed during the war or rebuilt ), it is very elegant, has a lot of great, incredibly beautiful old parks, has interesting modern buildings, it is much cleaner (and well-kept not only in the center but everywhere) and much friendlier to its residents than Kiev. ....
