We take a walk in Wrangell. Alaska. We visit the museum and Petroglyph Beach State Historic Site. We also climb up Mt. Dewey. This video was recorded in June 2019.

Please keep Wrangell in your prayers. They had a massive landslide last week. 4 people confirmed dead with 2 still missing, and 1 lady was rescued. I lived in the trailer park that you passed for awhile. In fact I was living on the island when you took the video. God bless you and thank you for this. I miss Wrangell.

Hi, guys. Jan here. We were on this same cruise. I had the best excursion in 27 cruises here in Wrangell on this rainy day. I took the Jet Boat up the Stikine River to Shakes Lake (full of large icebergs) and Shakes Glacier. It was amazing. If you ever go back, I highly recommend it. My only regret is that I didn’t walk up the street to buy a Wrangell Garnet. Thanks for posting this!

I lived almost 25 years on this island, it is an amazing place, seeing it when it isn't raining is hard to do, it rains about 285 days a year there. The Petroglyphs are slowly eroding away from sea water of course and damage done to them by well meaning people just wanting a souvenir by rubbing them onto paper. When we first moved there the glyphs were very easy to find, not any more. The 4th of July in Wrangell is unlike any other, people come from all over the US to celebrate there.

We may have to just return there on July 4 to see what it’s all about. Thank you for your comments and thank you for subscribing to our channel.

Decent video, but awful narration with incorrect pronunciation of rivers, sites, etc...A typical tourist, who doesn't take the time to do any research or background information before they post something like this to the public...
