I walk in the famous Beverly Hills Golden Triangle, which is home to the high-end Rodeo Drive shopping area. This area of Los Angeles is known to be a popular spot for celebrities to frequent, and a popular tourist destination. The Beverly Hills sign is also iconic for visitors to photograph.

I remember the first time I was in Beverly Hills. It was eons ago now, but one of the things that stood out to me is how very short the commercial portion of Rodeo Drive actually is. It's so famous with it's luxury shopping options, but the part of if featuring stores and shops is actually only a little more than 2 blocks long. That was such a surprise to me at the time.

Beverly Hills is where my son now lives after leaving New York 2 years ago. I'm so glad I've been able to see more of his locality. I can now see why he chose to leave a busy bustling metropolis for somewhere calmer but as equally captivating.

Kid, There's a reason that California attracted so many New Yorkers, and East Coasters. While going into 11th grade my friend & hitchhiked to Cali. I told my buddy, "I'll finish high school in Philly, but the curves on the Santa Monica Beaches were much more interesting than any in my Trigonometry & Calculus book"Day after my June '64 graduation, I hitchhiked back solo to L.A. and have been "Living the Dream" ever since...living in Venice to Malibu, Arizona, and now on a tropical Island in the SE Asia Pacific Ocean. New York, Philly, Boston, etc may be good, but open spaces, and sunshine are for me! YOU"LL BE BACK KID ACTION, please say high to "Peter Santenello" when he runs into you!

Three more blocks north east of the "Lilly Pond" and Canyon Drive intersection "towards end of walk" would have been the world headquarters of Live Nation Music and Concerts. I saw the roof of the building off in the distance.

Welcome to the neighborhood. I'm surprised I wasn't out that day walking my dog up and down Rodeo and Beverly. Rodeo and Beverly are not streets you're going to do any celebrity spotting on. It's usually the smaller restaurants a couple of blocks west that you might find somebody but it's rare. At @23:35 across the street is an odd building design by Frank Lloyd Wright
