Walking Los Angeles : Rodeo Drive to Beverly Hills Hotel

I walk the famous high-end Rodeo Drive shopping area to the Beverly Hills Hotel. This area of Los Angeles is known to be a popular spot for celebrities to frequent, and a popular tourist destination. The area past Santa Monica Boulevard is residential, with large mansions and pristine lawns. I end at the Beverly Hills Hotel, the inspiration for the popular Eagles song "Hotel California".

In 1965, I celebrated my 21st birthday in L.A., and was taken to a restaurant in Beverly Hills that evening for dinner as one of my birthday presents. It was the first, and I believe, the last time I have ever been to a restaurant where the menu had no prices next to the food items. To this day, I don't know what it cost, but the food was INCREDIBLE!! Cheers!! :)

Hotel California was a big hit in my country, too. There was a rumor (in the U.S.) that it was about a cult because of the lyrics meaning "Once you're in there, you can't get out", but apparently it was just a baseless urban legend. Stayed at Beverly Hills hotel in April for 2 nights showed my friend around went to pool and polo lounge and loved it. Def a bucket list. From LA live in NYC and go to Raos once a year
