I lived in Jamaica, Holllis, Rego Park, and Forest Hills when I was young. GOD willing I will move back to Forest Holls.

Lived in both Kew Gardens and on Austin Street in Forest Hills. Miss it though it has changed a lot. Got married at that church.

What a great walk Manny! I liked how you started near the border of Jamaica (my hubby was raised there).😊 Thanks for going off the beaten path. I like the ambience of Austin St.: trees, brick houses/apts, a nice mix! Keep up the great job!🤗

I've not been to this side of Queens.. good walk! Love the looks of the different buildings and the neighborhood.. the stairs going downstairs did look kinda creepy going at first..

If you take Long Island Railroad, it takes exactly 18 minutes to Midtown Manhattan ( Penn station) from Forest Hills, nice and easy! I love all the tall, big leafy trees and well-kept gardens in this neighborhood. You can walk for hours in the safe, pretty and very green residential neighborhood. So many beautiful plants, flowers, veggies and fruit trees people are growing in their front yards.

Actually, it might be Fun to live right by the subway tracks. You get the powerful Vibrations-- for free. One of these days, I'm going to give it a try!
