Thanks so much for that film ,this took me back to 1959 ,I was a very excited 7yr old boy ,and my dear dad was really happy that year his football team Nottingham forest had won the FA Cup ,and dad bought a new car a red.triumph herald.,and we was going on holiday to hayling island for a caravan holiday ,oh boy what a holiday I had, I went on the steam train over that viaduct ,for my love of trains and ships ,I also saw hms victory at Portsmouth ,and also saw the queen Mary docked in Southampton ,went to the castle at southsea ,I will never forget the best holiday ever ,thanks for the film so interesting ,now a old fella of nearly 71 .

Hi Chris, I grew up around here as did dad. The line had an incredible influence on us, well does to this day. And despite being in Sussex now I still have a rail chair dad and I 'rescued' back in 1972.
