Bout to go up in here and hook up a 3” schedule 40 open root with TIG. This helps a lot, much love hommie ✌️
@bokneeza3 жыл бұрын
Damn. Homie is very informative on welding. I will be recommending your channel for people who need help. I’m terrible at explaining things to people, I just weld and let them look/take notes by their observation. You should look into being a welding instructor in the future, when you’re ready to slow down that is.

yeah man i love teaching and showing people how to weld ..i taught alot of people

That hot pass he burned the stamped end off his rod. Big mistake. If the QC walked up and wants to verify your using the correct filler metal. But you welded it off your rod. He could potentially make you grind that pass out. Never burn the stamped end away.
@Leroy_Outside Жыл бұрын
when you pull out from the tie in can you explain why its ok to whip out instead of leaving the cup on the bead for the post flow. I just realized that some welders i seen kind of lag the finish so the argon stays on the bead longer. Not talking smak just kind of confused about post flow and how you dont seem too worried about it but u still pass the xray on the regular.
@Leroy_Outside Жыл бұрын
man i just had to come back and say you guys got mad talent and that i appreciate all the hard work you are doing Rico. You really inspired me to continue my welding journey and pursue breaking out. I am still learning and getting my stuff together. so glad i found your channel and i always learn something new from you. I never seen weaves look so slick, that shit looks like dragon skin. I'm blown away that your fill passes are that nice, I thought I was looking at one weld in the beginning but damn. That is next level.

When I try this at the angle your holding it while walking ur cup, my filler rod balls up and starts to puddle long before I makes it to my weld puddle. Am I to hot?
@Then.722 жыл бұрын
You are obviously holding your torch at the wrong angle and your tungsten is directed at the filler wire so make sure your tungsten is directed into the prep making a keyhole

hello am in Australia.. Have a job that has a lot of steel flooring around job site. Laydown of electode a pain. Using a modern small inverter stick welder. Q) anywhere in USA / your company sell a stick electrode holder with ON OFF switch. ? Have never seem one. Only one on www is one for 12 v vehicle welders it seems. Seems a no brainer to have the option? any info appreciated. Has to deal with wide range amps no doubt.
