Walking Through Garfield Park in Chicago, IL

Here, I made a video about a short walk I took from the Garfield Park Conservatory to the Garfield Park Field House. You can enjoy the many species and varieties of plants in the conservatory and learn about the history of the Garfield Park Field House.

I’ve looked into hiking this trail on the AllTrails app. Any concerns as in homeless in the park, drug trade, gangs, etc? Chicago parks are hit and miss and I know the surrounding area is one of the most violent in the city. Thanks.

It is a nice park, but you need to be careful about gangs and criminal activity. You just need to be watchful.
