I am endlessly fascinated by how similar these monumental Mexican colonial cities are to their counterparts in Southern Spain, Southern Italy and Southern France. The greatest conglomeration in the Americas of authentic European architecture and landscape, and yet, distinctly Mexican. True UNESCO world wonders these amazing historic urban centers.
