This dog looks so much like my dog, Bajabula Bonke. I love him. I miss him. My boy.

@@nomaderhowfar cheers for the reply, mate. I lived on that road in 1980. You couldn’t video the road from the back of the old Travelodge Hotel and west to around a km or two could you, mate? I must go back there again. It’s a beautiful place to be. In those days there was only one structure off that road west of the Travelodge. Google Maps shows incredible development there now.

Oh wow! I've spoke to people who say the area has changed loads in the last 5/10 years, so I can only imagine how much it's changed since the 80's!! Sure thing haha! Where abouts was the Travelodge?

there was nothing on that road except one small food store behind the Travelodge. I just checked GoogleMaps and the transformation is amazing. The Tanoa is the old Travelodge and the Novotel is the old Mocambo Hotel. The Tanoa Hotel used to be up on a hill a little bit further south. I lived near the creek opposite the Solomoni Church, which was not there then. There were heaps of mango trees around and life was good with no electricity and no hot water. I must dig out the photos, as I took many. You living near there now?
