nice. i've been there quite a few years ago when it was not maintained in any way and it was an unplanned pause on a journey - in summer. so it was mostly full of nettles and brambles and i couldn't work out where it began and ended. but seeing it here it's easily as big as ludlow and probably only more ruinous because there wasn't so much of a town and nearby industry to keep it going.

I believe that it was originally bigger and more important than Ludlow Castle... Roger Mortimer, war of the roses and all that... but sadly time and progress did for Wigmore where as Ludlow thankfully survived mostly intact. Thanks for watching :)

Thank you buddy. original mavic pro for the aerial shots... still a great drone that is utterly bulletproof! I will upgrade at some point but I know if I buy a new drone now the mavic 3 will appear as if by magic a few days later :p all ground shots taken on GH5 with lumix 7-14mm F4 wide angle lens, which is my favourite for landscapes!
