Led by Indigenous grandmothers, on Sept 8th, 2024, 26 people came
together for a 200 km peace walk from Pugwash, Nova Scotia to Halifax.
They were hosted by churches, community centres and local residents.
Along the way they were met by strangers who supported them
both in spirit and in deed - offering water, rest and shade.
With the high temperatures, it was a challenging walk.
