lots of new construction,, a sort of residential area .. how close to St Petersburg itself? the area reminds me a lot of rural northern British Columbia,, but without the building sites .. whats the water source? re there good wells?and i suppose there are septic systems as well? I hope and pray there will be a prevailing peace between Russia and the collective West.. the last few days and today.. there are some very worrisome developments.. an escalation , which is speeding up. I wish more people in the West would snap out of their russiaphobia and seek peaceful solutions.

This is a cottage community 25 km from the city in the northwest, surrounded by 3 lakes and 2 km from the highway. Drinking water (artesian well) is supplied to each plot, the cost of connection is 1700 euros. light 15 kW, connection cost 1500 euros. Everyone installs a septic tank themselves (approximately the price with installation is 1,500 euros). We in St. Petersburg are not particularly interested in politics! :) I don’t know at all what’s going on there, I think they mostly treat Volodya P’s behavior with humor. If you think about it, Volodya could deal with everyone in 5 minutes, but he doesn’t do that, he enjoys life and mocks the West and above us too, of course! :) But we pay him in the same coin, we laugh at him from the bottom of our hearts, every day when we see him on TV! He is a St. Petersburger, which means he is a cheerful and cynical person, like all of us native St. Petersburgers. By the way, the fewer people who know the truth about Russia, the better! Culture, art, humanities education - let them remain elitist things, not for everyone! The common people in the West, and even in Russia, must work and watch stupid news on TV and believe everything they are told, and the elite must prosper (The elite are thinking and analyzing people who know how to read between the lines). Why explain something to ordinary people? The majority of people are simply consumables for the authorities of all countries, leave them alone, let them live their lives! :):)
