Thank you very much, Virtual Walks In America, for your video presentation walking through downtown Jacksonville! I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Duval county, and as I watch your video I am remembering downtown Jacksonville when I was a little boy walking these same downtown streets with my grandmother! It is a national thing that many of the major downtowns across America aren't nearly as dynamic with that hustle & bustle of the 50's, 60's, & 70"s! Jacksonville has lots of very interesting history and I truly hope that a renaissance might take place in our fare city indeed! Jacksonville is the largest city in land area and the 12th largest city in the USA based on population as we have a consolidated form of government which began back in 1967! Jacksonville with the right visionaries can help make Duval a better place to live! Jacksonville is primarily a banking & insurance town with logistics playing a pivotal role in its economy! Last but not least Jacksonville is home of the NFL's Jaguars! Thank you for making this video of Jacksonville's downtown treasures a reality!

There aren't many people in Downtown Jacksonville. And even more so on weekend mornings! ☺️

i’ve lived in jacksonville for over 11 years. jacksonville is a very car centric city made almost entirely of suburban development and so the city prioritizes the suburbs over downtown. people usually go to shopping centers and malls in the suburbs instead of downtown, so downtown is super dead

@@fortune5903 It's a pity! You are absolutely right! Such a beautiful Downtown, but it's completely abandoned
