Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn is still a good neighborhood. I've gone fishing day and night for Porgies and Sea Bass. Unfortunately Stella Maris got demolished afew weeks ago. I always bought my tackle and bait there. Got my rods and reels repaired there. They had a great staff there. I go fishing on one of the boats ( Marilyn Jean) Super great crew and Captains. The Whale Watching boat is American Princess. Sheepshead Bay had once 40 boats. Today 5 boats. Roll N Roaster should be a landmark. They still have awesome food. Emmons Bagels great Bagels to eat in Sheepshead Bay. Great video of Sheepshead Bay.

Sad to hear that about Stella. We used to go to Randazzo's every weekend. It's amazing to see how many people still fish there. Awesome.

Also, since I heard, you asked a question all the boats that lead from that area, I try to boats and their fishing customers on them that’s not where private boat owners keep their boats

Antonio I used to fish all the time from those boats , i’ve spent countless hours in all the areas that those boats could possibly fish never in my life that I see. A whale, i’m sorry, but if you want to see Whales, you go to somewhere like Hawaii or Alaska because I don’t think they spend much time in Brooklyn even if they’re migrating.

It's changed in recent years. They limit traffic of bunker fishing boats and so the Humpback Whales are flocking here, to Raritan Bay and more areas.

As far as what they catch from that side, walk in that bridge, believe it or not schools of bunco will roll through and when that happens, you can catch not only big blue fish right past as well. I spent hundreds of nights on that very bridge catching many a mini of fish sometimes if the bank is Woodrow, true, and the blue fish warrant that we would take the blue fish and we will go to breezy point which I’m sure you’re familiar with but believe it or not you can catch big blue fish and striped bass ride from that bridge

That is what that guy caught when I saw him catch that fish. Looked like Striped Bass.

So they talk and text killed me that last comment but what I meant to say, is there a fish called bunker which are Betta fish and when they roll into the bay many times they are chased by bluefish and striped bass and you can actually catch huge fish right off the sidewalk and from the bridge

I had some fresh caught striped bass from Raritan Bay, it was amazing. I was a bit skeptical though, I admit. I figured it was a one time deal.
