The "Walking with..." series are some the best documentaries on prehistoric life. Outdated by now yes. But they're more than just documentaries, they're pure entertainment as well. I do wish wed get more like these. The only other one close to these was the PBS "The Dinosaurs" documentary. Mostly the animated segments from it.

I like the theme journey to the spawning pool. You really want those fish to reach there destination and when the score changes and the brotoscorpio show up it you get a sense of hopelessness knowing several of those fish won’t make it. But when the softer track returns it regains that hopeful atmosphere like the fish had the last laugh cause of sheer numbers. It’s beautiful…

What a beautiful labor of love this is. This special and its soundtrack were iconic to me as a child. What you've done here is nothing short of incredible. Signed the linked petition as well; thank you for including that. My favorite track was definitely "journey to the spawning pool;" the main motif there is so hopeful and at the same time pensive and anxious. Fits super well and it was a treat to hear it recreated here. Thank you very much for this.

@@jean-pierremartin7149 not the whole soundtrack but definitely a few of them (especially from mammoth journey) were unreleased and the only way to really listen to them is via soundbites with the episode narrations being muffled in the background, so I wouldn't mind a remaster of those.
