Storage update: @FieryHammer wrote an email to WalkingPad to ask about storage. They replied just recently as follow: "R1 Pro, R2, X21 can be stored vertically However, for the C1, P1, C2, A1 Pro Z1, we generally recommend that you fold it and store it flat. If you prefer it to be stored vertically, for example, please lean it against a wall and choose a safe place so that it does not slip or fall off, as there are circuit boards and motors inside the head of the device."

Important: I subsequently read in the operating instructions that the WalkingPad should take a 20-minute break to cool down after 1 hour of operation. It is therefore better not to walk the 10,000 steps in one go, as this can apparently lead to damage.

@@4HappyHome321 could you recommend a model that would be suitable for longer sessions?
@Rednamalasaurus

I just got this model. Its perfect except for that flaw you mentioned about the hour limit. I plan to use it for more than 1h at a time on lower speeds (1.0 to 1.5 km/h) always at cooler temperatures (below 20d always). Despite the manufacturer limit, I hope this will be OK - can keep you posted. I will be careful and occasionally check if its hot at the front.

Nice review. Does it not have the auto mode? I thought the other WalkingPad models had some function that slows down when you slow down and speed up when you speed up. Edit: just saw on your other review, it does not have it. What don’t you like about the auto mode?
@4HappyHome321
@4HappyHome321 Ай бұрын
Hi Pino, that's right. i have the feeling that auto-mode does what it wants and is simply too insecure for me. Maybe I'm just too silly to use it properly!

What is the warranty when it comes to faults ? I saw some comments people reciebing some models defects or models come defects with use -- with limitted support ?

Another question, How does it compare against P1 & A1 Pro ? And is it lighter due to the use of more plastic in the body which got to be lighter if compared against P1 for example ? And would that make it less durable
@4HappyHome321
@4HappyHome321 4 ай бұрын
It is quieter since it doesn't have a fan, and it's also easier to move around the room compared to the A1 Pro and the P1. I think it is more prone to damage than the other two, but so far, it's been really good for using at the desk.

Are you sure it cannot be stored upright? I read mixed reviews about it being stored upright (for some it started to make weird noises after stored vertically) so I became unsure about it. Does the manual or any label say anything about this, because what I found with other models, some say you can store it vertically some say you should not, but I couldn't find the Z1's manual online.
@4HappyHome321
@4HappyHome321 4 ай бұрын
I keep it upright right now and have not found anything in the operating instructions that advises against it. Otherwise I wouldn't know what the hard rubber on the front is for. What I did find is that it should have a 20 minute break to cool down after 1 hour of use. Maybe that has something to do with it. I'll write it again separately as a comment.

@@4HappyHome321 Same request, I dont have specefic question -- understanding pros & cons for three models would help making informed decesion. Also not clear why same compoany produce similiar models for walking without making clear destinction on which model is for what. They clearly operate with same noise level , motor power, speed, dimensions & price range.

@@4HappyHome321 Thank you looking forward to it so far I'm between P1 & Z1 -- more towards Z1 as its lighter + brushless motor yet P1 looks nicer and completly sealed. I think Z1 is a bit cheaper than P1 which is a concern to me not knowing why although they are both similiar

@@amiraazmy6701 What is your goal? If you weigh under 100 kg, you'll be happier with the Z1. My partner already finds the P1 relatively heavy (to pull) and the Z1 is comfortable in her eyes.

I would not use it on a carpet table unless it is a thin one because rubber mats are also not recommended for the model.
@4HappyHome321
@4HappyHome321 2 ай бұрын
I need to clarify a mistake: The manual for this model states that a mat should not be used. I missed that, and mistakenly used the mat in the video. Please keep this in mind when using the device! But in my opinion, you don't need them for walking either.
