Whiskey Bourbon Barrel Coffee Table.

How to make a Barrel coffee table with a glass top and storage for a few bottles and glasses.
I just found barrels at Menards yesterday. The Barrels are all ready cut in half and ready to use. They are $100, Sku# 278-0209.
This could make it easier for you and your project.
0.5 barrel
1 plywood end backer; 21"da × 3/8" ply
1 hinge; 11" liftop
1 glass; 3/8" x 23"x17", 3/4 radius corner polished
2 oak board; 1" x 10" x 4ft
2 cradles, oak, true 2"x6" (18”x7”).
4 cradle feet; nail on glides
1 spray paint; flat black
40 Screws; #10 1.5" black pan head brad nails; 1 1/4", 18G
staples; 1/4" x 1" 18G
Polyurethane; clear satin

Great idea but you lost me at the pocket screws. Mine will be biscuit joined, no glass
