I wish I had stopped to see Roussillon when I was in Provence. Having been in Gordes and Les Baux while spending some time in Avignon, I was so close to Roussillon. Maybe next time I visit France. Gordes is a very historic and attractive hilltop village like Roussillon and other quintessential perched villages of Provence, but what makes Roussillon special is its colorful aspect.

Why there are so few tourists?...Usually crowds and crowds of them are all over the town! 😄

We always start our videos early in the morning as the town wakes to the day. Our viewers can enjoy the architecture of the streets before the tourists arrive and then enjoy a tour as the shops and restaurants open. As you will see, there are many more tourist later in the video, even out of holiday season it gets really busy. Thanks for watching, have a really great day 😊

As casas na maioria estão com janelas e portas fechadas. Uma colada na outra. Tem alguma area aberta por dentro p arejar e entrar sol? Ê muito úmida?

There are open area squares and courtyards within the village, windows and doors are kept closed to keep the home cool in the hottest hours of the day.
