Walksnail AVATAR VRX updating and unlocking

yay i forgot to try a different sd card ..i used an old 512 but after reading they recommend a U3 so i will buy one and try that next update .i was so happy i forgot to put the fan on thinking ide have to re connect the camera then i seen vtx overheating and was like WHATTTTT!!! thank 4

mine suck lol ive tryede like 4x now no update ..batch 2 just staying on original firmware do u remove the file or does it delete it after resetting the vrx please? im going to try again now 5x a charm lmho ..thanx for sharing not many do.

Honestly i can't remenber very well but i think that i deleted the file after...

Put a card that works in the goggles or vrx and use settings to " format" it . Then when you put the card into your phone or computer it will have a file on it named for your walksnail rx . Thenbdownload the 2 upgrade files from caddx . A phone can get a free app called move to sd card . The app will show the caddx files for upgrade in your download phone memory and the sd card files . Click move to ---- and the goggles formattted file on the sd card so the goggles go find it when you put the card into your goggles . I think you press the setting button and hold it until it beeps and let go for 10 minutes or so until you hear a long beep . Press reset in setting in the goggle screen by the settings joystick button .Shut it off ( unplug battery ) and plug it back in and go to steeings and look for more power choices and channels . The 1s only has 700mW max power . The bigger vtx has 1200mW .

The channels andsettings are in the vtx in the drone . Bind a vtx . Power vtx in model drone and goggles . Try reset with everything on . The 1s vtx only has 700mW power after upgrade . The bigger vtx has 1200mW . The pro v2 has low light camera and 1200mW etc. I heard the vtx needs sky- something. Upgrade via usb . Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz😔😔😔😔still these endless videos 😴😴😴zzzzz

OH ONE MORE THING . TAKE OFF STANDBY MODE IN SETTINGS . STANDBY MODE LEAVES THE MODEL VTX FLYING AROUND IN 25mW No matter what the goggles say unless you have rx and tx hooked up to a flight controller that sends " armed or disarmed " info to the vtx . It will work without rx and tx hooked up . You showed the upgrade by sd card right i think . You need that . And ham radio license to use in controlled radio spaces for the country it is in . Some countries allow certain frequencies and settings . It will be like an all in one fpv camera if you skip the rx and tx connections . But without rx and tx hooked up and working you need to shut standby mode off in goggles settings to get the higher transmit power settings to work . Otherwise it does not know if the model is armed or not and leaves it in 25mW bench setting . No osd from Betaflight either without rx and tx hooked up and command "set osd_displayport_device = MSP set displayport_msp_serial=x" is entered in cli tab in betaflight for your flight controller . You do not type " x" , you type the uart number you soldered to minus 1 . As in uart 2 , x=1 , and uart 4 , x=3 , and uart 2 , x= 1 . etc. And remember to type save and press whatever it says for send or save or enter in cli or cli resets back the way it was .

If you are afraid to type into cli most people tyoe " diff all " in and copoy the cli tect and save it in case they want to restore it original . It rejects automatically commands that make no sense to it . Keep the model cool with a fan or it overheats and picture goes black until it cools down again . I was looking for " unlock "
