A tip I wish to share , one which I think is therapeutic and artistically constructive. Over the last two and half years I have selectively accumulated around 90 brilliant Kontakt libraries including this fantastic library . My experience was I never really reached a point where I had fully explored or mastered any one particular library and that left a sense of maybe..I was falling short in voicing and articulation possibilities during compositions. I changed my operating basis and on a hunch started to create a short list of libraries to work with on a particular piece and then dedicated a week or two to really understand every library in detail, operationally and sonically. That approach improved productive rate and possibly the music…for me a more informed relaxed approach to composing. I mention this because the movement and evolution series of Spitfire string libraries contain rich hidden depths which take a little work and understating to fully expose . Do well 👍

Hi, these evos look marvelous, but would it be possible to see the list of all the articulations with the explanations (such as they appear on the bottom left) on the product page ? Because right now there only are the titles, and the walkthrough only shows up a few articulations so truth is, I don't know what I would actually be buying, even if it seems great - thanks !

I might rip your voice Paul & stick it on my mp3 player for when it's time to snooze - you should be making relaxation CDs, lovely & calming.

I bought this in the black weekend 'The Ton' deal. It's an awesome library but I was wondering if you have a list of what the actual articulations are? Each peg is a different articulation and it'd be great (indeed needed) to know what they are so I can be less random and more strategic when choosing sounds. Pretty please.

Even if I like so much these three last one release, this is my favourite from these... a bit more dramatic and something with a kind melancholic way ~

Are there 'waves' in this like there are in Olafur's Chamber Evo? (basically arcs)?

Beautiful, my deep regret is the lack of a smaller ensemble but hey you can’t have everything! BTW good call to move away from kontakt, but what about nks ?

Isn't it quite similar to British Drama Toolkit?... I'm not sure if this would add something different to my arsenal if I already have BDT... would love to hear thoughts from people who have them both. Cheers!

I have and use both, and I find them to be quite different and achieve completely different sounds in my tracks; where I'm unable to use one to achieve a sound I'm looking for I can usually achieve it using the other. With this library the strings evolve much more than BDT and you have endless more options; the evolutions within the textures within BDT are actually quite limited compared to this one. Even adding chatter from the woods, for example, with a string texture, still doesn't hold a candle to the way this library evolves. This one does a great job of adding tension and expansion I can't get from BDT. I'm a huge fan of "ear candy," and this one is superior in that department. I really enjoy having Fragile Strings and personally I think it's absolutely worth having both. Just my personal opinions, though. I assume it really depends on what you're looking for for your music.

I don't think I'm liking how different parameters are collapsed into the single big knob. Seems gimmicky; eye candy with no functional benefit. Better to keep all possible faders/controls visible. Of course, I'll still be buying the thing. 😂
