What they need to make is twins on a track base that split for daytime looks or unrelated guests etc, but slide together and latch for sleeping together and then putting the space around the outer perimeter. Bam, perfect solution

I think if I were thin the 20 foot would be wonderful. But for a large person not so much. I’ve lived in a Sport 16 for almost three years and it’s pretty good and an *excellent* layout for a large person with a larger center isle than any other Airstream. And it has everything I need. Every time I think I want a bigger trailer I can’t stand to give up u-turns and being able to park in basically any driveway.

Nice video comparison. I have a 25' Airstream and really like it after seven years. It is easy to get around but I would say that there is little difference between the 25,26,27 or 28 foot Airstreams as they are all within 2 feet of each other in actual length. For many years the 25 was the best selling model as it is the smallest big trailer (wide body, bigger tanks, etc.). I have come to certain layout designs- twin beds, couch, all-in-one bath. The 26' is a model I like in the newer models.

@rxonmymind83624 жыл бұрын
Jib Guy Show me ONE model that’s a four season trailer. Then follow up and show me one that doesn’t condensate during the fourth winter season. Let me spare you the research. Not one. (Unless you get a wood stove) So spare me the insulation argument. I’ve lived in mine year around from 26 degrees to 105 and have been comfortable in them. So unless you go into negative -30 then I’d recommend you going to Hilton.

@@IreneIronTravels Excellent delivery! COVID-19 has opened my eyes to a new way of living. I too am considering the Caravel 22FB(min) vs the International 25FB/RB(max). Although there is a 30k cost difference, I am still leaving towards the international. I will only go 22 if I decide live in it while I have a Honomobo H04+ placed on property, then use the 22 for travel. However purchasing the H04+ would defeat my whole purpose of living debt free...

It is an amazing moment when you discover that there are other options on life! Not, sure if you have seen our other videos or story, but we had a 5 year plan to downsize, quit our corporate jobs, start our own company and travel the country in a Class B van. We have been doing this for 18 months now and absolutely love it. Debt free is the way to do it in our opinion too.👍 I just googled H04+.....WOW. Thanks for mentioning that as we are always keeping our eyes out for the perfect property/place while we travel. Haven't looked much into the home part..... but shipping containers might be the way to go. Good Luck with everything!

Why a van vs a trailer? Do you unhook every time you want to go somewhere or do you tow a vehicle? Seems like a trailer would be easier to travel with and give more room a flexibility? Enjoyed your video! You guys are good on camera.
@IreneIronTravels4 жыл бұрын
Hey there. We prefer the ease of use in a van right now. We've been full time for just over a year now and we like that we can pretty much take our van anywhere and park anywhere anytime. We did a lot of big east coast cites last year and this year we are out west exploring more of nature. ( Well... not so much right now.) We like always have everything with us too. No tow vehicle or anything on top or hanging off the back. But, your right a trailer has a ton more room and having a truck would give some flexibility on exploring. We had fun looking at the trailers(maybe some day), but we love our van. Thanks for watching!
@susanpratt32904 жыл бұрын
These all look great. 25-16 feet is a good size for towing, and roomy inside. But I do love that desk in the Classic, I wonder if you can hook up a Blu-Ray and DVR to that Projector, and also have cable or satellite option with the Projector. It also has more room for a full-timer who wants some office space as well. I also like to have the oven and microwave, because I do like an oven for baking, or roasting and the microwave for warming up food.

to meet the answer is non, they have almost no storage space especially if you compare them to a normal RV, they are extremely expensive,, the narrow body doesn't help prevent the claustrophobia feeling that comes with RVs, you really can't go up on the roof uninstall solar panels as you could on a normal RV, you are better off getting a normal RV and doing proper maintenance on it as well as preventive maintenance every 6 months

How tall is Aaron? Maybe you said...and I missed it. But that would help as my husband is 6’4. :)

Hello! I am about 6'2" and i think all the newer AC ducted Airstream trailers are about 6'7" on the inside. I felt pretty comfortable inside. But then again our van is about 6'3"😜

Caravel 22. All it needs is replacement stainless steel utility covers to get rid of the plastic crap.

I like the 27’ front bedroom twin bed model. I’ll take one in the Flying Cloud line!

Which one can the sprinter van pull. If you have a van for short couple trips, and the trailer when you bringing the three teenagers along?
@IreneIronTravels4 жыл бұрын
A new Sprinter van can tow between 5,000-7,500 LBs depending on the model. If you mean a converted Sprinter like the Airstream Interstate that says it can tow 5,000 lbs. Check out this guy, he is doing just that! www.airstream.com/blog/ambassador-kevin-clabert/ He states : This tow package gives the Atlas, Interstate EXT, and Interstate Nineteen the needed capacity to tow up to 5,000 lbs. or enough to bring along any of single axle travel trailers in our lineup (Nest, Basecamp, Bambi, Caravel).

How tall are they? It looks like they are in an apartment , is there that much headroom?

Don’t buy an Airstream at all. Buy an Oliver. Far better quality.

Great comparison. Nice to step through up through the models to compare fit and finish all in one sitting. 18:15 Does the toilet seat rotate as I've seen others do or does one just sit at an angle away from that intrusive sink cabinet?
@IreneIronTravels2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I don’t believe the toilet seat rotates in those…

I liked the two you chose, also… They would have been my choice.

Great video!!! I started with the 16 foot Caravel for easy towable, then quickly ramped up to the 20 foot Caravel for a nice kitchen and dry bath... but the bed is kinda too small. Jump to the 22' Caravel and get a reasonable bed...well if we go that far we may as well go to the 23 foot dual axle Flying Cloud. It's all perfectly justifiable....right???

Are there toilets in the Base Camp and the other small options? Hoping you do show kitchen and bathroom accommodations in the larger units. Ok, thank you as you did show more detail in the larger units. Enjoyed the comparison!

Great video guys. Wish you would do a clip of Aaron laying down, showing the practical size of the bed. Had a friend (6 ft) purchase a cheaper camper and found a few weeks after purchase the bed was just too confining for him.

I wish y’all had spent more time on the smaller ones showing us those because if you need a house then just buy a house instead of a camper. It doesn’t matter how much space you need, it matters what kind of car you have to pull one with, we don’t wanna have to buy another $60,000 powerful truck to pull it with. We want to pull it with our smaller SUVs
