Super helpful seeing how you interact with the staff to view cards! Thanks

thanks! my recording on this day was really dedicated to showing people a lot of the process, so it wasnt as hype or exciting as others.. but i think it was neccesary

Super helpful to see how you interact with staff and ask them to come over. Couple this with the buying through computers from the other videos and that should summarise everything i wanted to know, plus solidify the fact i need to go and complete some HGSS sets!

Very nice, both the bodycam and the rest of the video! Entertaining and helpful to get an understanding of how you do your shop tours. I'd love to buy some Bearbricks (the bears in the last shop) from Japan, since they cost less and they have the largest selection (especially the special editions) but I'm very skeptic of the proxy needed to ship those to EU... any reccomentations? Maybe you could add those to your shop too!
@PokemonSteven5 ай бұрын
No idea man, im sure every re-shipper coudl help you if you purchase them and get boxes with the purchase you could go to japan post and ship them to your own proxy account. i know many people who do this, but i dont know how it works with the values and stuff.

Top notch vlogging! The clarity on your videos and audio has been pretty outstanding! The ASMR of checking conditions in a card shop 😂 Think you need to drop a discount code by your last video, craving slab purchases now haha

how did you search or to have a list of the available pokemon card stores in japan? Ill go there next year and would love to know a list of the available stores either in tokyo or osaka

Really enjoy this series of videos. the mix of styles and info is great. i would not just want a video showing the cards in cases but following the journey is great. i don't even deal in Japanese pokemon and I want to go look :-) BTW do you see any English cards in tokyo? just curious.
@PokemonSteven6 ай бұрын
a few stores have a small english range. but its not the focal point.

i dont think i had a top 3, i had good experiences in tokyo and osaka, i dont think its worth going to either just for card stores. whichever city you end up in just enjoy it and then go to stores aswell

Can you ever "negotiate" with the prices at any of the stores? Whether it's a discount or a certain price?
@optimusp5174 ай бұрын
I was actually disappointed with Girafull when I went two weeks ago. All their display cases were dirty and hazy. I'm actually shocked to see it's clear in your video. Prices are insane also. Sigh.

@@PokemonSteven I should've taken pictures of the glass displays, but didn't. I think my biggest problem is not going in with a card list of what I wanna pick up so going in blind doesn't help at all.

Its harder to sell to stores as a forigner, usually they want proof of address in Japan. In general i'd say its easier to sell your cards first and then go to japan.
@laurentmanderlier65946 ай бұрын
i personnaly liked the other cam POV better, this is more like a global POV , not a "indept" POV of the shops Have a nice day!

i agree, i prefer doing the camera and holding it around, but i havent seen any videos of anyone doing an osaka walkthrough or showing what purchasing cards is like, so i decided to do one !

what do you mean by they do tax free? you normally have to pay some tax as tourist?
@PokemonSteven6 ай бұрын
some places in japan offer 10% off tax free discounts, but you will pay the 10% tax when you arrive back in your home country (they dont always charge...), so usually its just a 10% discount. Usually only in the main cities.
