I hope halion will have more and more recognition. Thank you for the walkthrough!

Thank you very much for that nice walk-through! I bought the lib! - A somewhat unrelated question: What kind of keyboard stand do you use?

This is great! Is it possible to have velocity layers? For example of I want 0-63 to be “Aah” but 64-127 to be “Ooh” can I set that up with this? I’m not too familiar with Halion.

@@SoundironAudio I mostly like to window shop the libs on the website. hahah sometimes listen on YT cuz the produced ones on soundcloud often have Kontakt trickery and such with lots of massaging even tho the naked ones are often there. thx

Great walkthrough for a beautiful-sounding affordable choir library! I have a small question. One of the most important features of Soundiron Olympus Elements is the following, as described in its official web page: "Phrasemaster preset allows up to 16 user-sequenced patterns with 16 steps each - supports live sustain/staccato and men/women/ensemble switching for each step"! Is this not included in Steinberg Halion version?
@SoundironAudio3 жыл бұрын
Hi George, Thanks for the compliment! As for the phrasemaster preset, that is not featured in the HALion version.

@@SoundironAudio Thank you for the ultra fast reply, amazing support as always! :) What a pity though, the same library is more expensive for Halion, while offering less content than the Kontakt Player Version. Let's hope that there will be an update in the future adding the whole content, because Halion surely deserves much more attention from all of us. It's a very capable modern Sample Player. I would really prefer to buy the Halion version of Olympus Elements instead of the Kontakt Player one, but I wouldn't pay 20 more Euros to buy less content. :(

Actually, really good. Bought it for me too and it's really high quality. Unfortunately I can't play it with the sustain pedal because otherwise the singers will scream at me and that destroys the whole feeling. Is it designed to be played without a sustain pedal or what is the sustain pedal good for Olympus Chorus Elements?

While reading about this plugin it says it has a phrase builder, is that only possible in the kontakt version or why doesn't anybody talk about it? 🤔

Hi, I have Kontakt and Halion - I don't know which version I should buy. What's the difference to Requiem Light Symphonic Choir? Sound? Possibilities?
@SoundironAudio4 жыл бұрын
Hi Joseph, Lyrical Content in Requiem Light - Vowels only in Olympus Elements, but more vowels (8 instead of 6) Large Cathedral sound (long reverb) in Requiem Light - Medium Church sound in Olympus Elements(shorter reverb, easier to control to put your own reverb on) 45 Singers in Requiem Light - 63 Singers in Olympus Elements. Hope this helps!

Does this have the ability to do solo voices also for Ahs as an example or would I be better off grabbing the Voices of Rapture? Thank you

I just picked up the Halion version of this, but it doesn't fit in the screen size when I open Halion? It cuts off just below where the two "Bend" knobs are...any ideas?
@SoundironAudio4 жыл бұрын
Not sure how that would be happening. Halion doesn't scale or resize so it should open correctly. It may be your screen resolution? I would contact Steinberg support to see if they can help.

@Soundiron hi Craig,i have the olympus choir elements for kontakt,i dont heve the patch beautiful legato,in kontakt ther's only true legato,is that the same thing,even the gui is older,not the modern halion one,native access has'nt dismplayed a update for this library,can you enlighten me on this issue Craig,thanx

You'll need to contact support@soundiron.com to upgrade your kontakt version. The kontakt and HALion versions are completely separate and look different.

@@SoundironAudio both instruments have te same name,so they should be equal in sound and capabillities,why should i have to contact support,an update to the newer version should be automatic via native access

Does this work for FL Studio?
@SoundironAudio2 жыл бұрын
you would need to use the HALion sonic player in FL studio running as a VST plugin. Alternatively, you could get the kontakt player version.
