As a Tamilian, what an ease to understand this malayalam review. So humble and a honest review from the owner. I feel BRV is the best for indian family. We always end up with some relatives trying to hop on during ocassion. Having a 5 seater feels criminal in our roads. Unlucky that the car didnt sell well in commerical view. But hey we always go for SUV looks more than this value cars from honda. What a shame.

It didn't sell well because of Honda's bone headed decisions. They didn't even offer a face lift. The new BRV launched in most SE Asian countries. That looks like an improved product, especially the exterior.

I skipped BRV & headed for City coz of it's middle row seat lack of thick cushioning (under thigh support).Its an ergonimic design but need to compromise on aforesaid. BTW Ertiga gives better under thigh support. BRV is an inferior platform designed for SEAsian countries & India, but City/Grace is a superior due to its global Fit/Jazz platform. We can feel in its chassis & body built quality, Interior noise insulation (after 100 kmph). But, The primary reason for me to skip BRV for City is its engine. Its an enthusiastic (under square design)engine in a non eustatic car. An over square engine in a 7 seater would be a perfect match. Yes, Diesel is an over square design. Hondas petrol's are all under squared. BRV's more curb weight demands an over square engine ! None can built a Petrol IC engine(under square) like a Honda, they did prove it with their F20C / S2000 by holding WRecord for 10 freaking years ! From a small cc lawn mover to bush cutter, generator, propeller, pressure washer, bikes, cars, Jets(Jet fuel (similar to Diesel)). They got the highest portfolio of petrol engines in the world ! Honda for life ! huh, may be a VW (non turbo/mpfi) as a second brand. The owner is very informative !
