The Porsche reference he mentioned was during the development of Honda Acura NSX. Honda bought a 911 GT3 and reverse engineered it to develop an equally dynamic yet rigorous track oriented package. The j35z2 engine that you find in this car is not the best of what Honda has developed, if you were to praise Honda it has to be for its inline/ k series mills. This is also not a performance car by any means, it was meant to be a super saloon and v6 was all about its tall ratio and mile munching nature. Maybe a poor man’s gran tourer

Car is very good , he is giving all wrong information, unless his car has issues. I have 2007 v6 Oil change is once per every 5k kms this is as per service manual of honda, brake pads last really good don't have to change that frequently, he is scaring people away. Vsa is always on I like he mentioned, unless you press button to disable it, it works in conjunction to abs, that's like putting traction control off.

Forget V6. Coz its the trade off of better reliable inline 6 (more engine room) for more passenger room. Inlines are the panicles of reliability in IC engine history coz its (pistons run) perpendicular to ground/gravity making no uneven wearing around cylinder walls, thus a lot less metallurgy engineering challenges over engineers back. An eg: is Toyota -2JZ or any old gen Landcruiser Inline engines. If there is a brand that can extract "highest power output per displacement" frm an IC engine. Specifically "Over square-Naturally Aspirated- Port Injected-Inline 4- Gasoline motor ? only Honda can achieve that, and they did prove it long back ! that they are the masters of high revving/powering Gasoline motors. Huh yes Mazda/Subaru can easily smoke an inline Honda with their rotary motors but never in longevity. For me the most Iconic Honda cars are NSX, S2000, WRX, Integra Type R, Civic Type R, Accord Euro, Fit even the little K-car Honda Beat, simply amazes us with its insane 9k redline ! U want Reliability & Performance (ie inversely proportional or impossible) at the same time, Honda is the last name !

Very nicely maintained car.. I also own a Honda Accord 2010 model 3.5 V6.. it's a very comfortable car.. got the car after lot of search in the used car market.. when I got it, mechanically it was good with 70000 kms done at the time of purchase.. still I believe seeing the interior condition it might have run more... the interior was not neat .. so had change many things.. presently the paint is fading.. in future will need a paint job..It's my daily car.. with monthly 1700 km plus run.. mostly highway (Bangalore - Thiruvananthapuram via Thrissur) .. will try to keep it as long as I can.

This is one of the most unreliable one. 2006 model is the best. With an average 5 speed gearbox this drives like a boat. But positive side is this is the cheapest v6 one can get hold off in Indian used market. That NA V6 feel and sporty note is addictive. 230+bhp with 330Nm is amazing
