I love my queen size wall bed. I'm in my late 60's, arthritic and fat, and still managed to assemble it all by myself! It was at my door in Kauai 3 days after I ordered it! Free shipping. Most other places won't even deliver to Hawaii. Clear, easy instruction video made it very easy to assemble. Just watch the video a couple of times before you try to put it together. It's so simple if you follow it exactly. My apartment is so much bigger without the bed taking up all the space. 5 stars!!!!! UPDATE: 4 years later and the bed works as well as the day it was first assembled. It is attached to the wall and not the floor. I use a foam and innerspring mattress with a 2 inch latex topper. The pistons operate like new. I have recommended this bed to everyone who has an interest.

I'm planning to buy and convert an enclosed cargo trailer into a "camper." The Murphy bed concept came to mind. This is an affordable option, but it appears that it only works from one height, unless the folding legs are somehow extended. This bed is built for being low to the ground from what it seems, but most things can be modified somehow. I'm definitely keeping this in mind. And for my last comment, OH DEAR GOD the telephone on hold/elevator repetitive music that accompanies this video was causing me to become so frickin grouchy!!!! I had to mute the video and open another youtube window in the background playing some REAL music!!! Arrrgggh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, we had a few customers who installed the wallbed in their camper van. The Horizontal wallbeds are more suitable for camper vans. It is possible to raise the height of the wallbed.

I like it because it uses wood for the bottom frame and actually has a mechanism unlike the lori bed... but the price is quite high... At that price it's competing with full cabinet beds....

You need 1/4" by 2" screws to attach it to the wall...

Hi, this is very unusual, however if the wallbed starts squeaking, the noise can be eliminated by applying WD-40 to the area where the metal parts are rubbing on each other.
