yeah, but height control kinda sucks with a 1 light set up, cause folks never grow just 1 plant in a 2x4.... for a 2x4 I's rather have 2, 200w qboards(15x23) where you'd have a bit more power and some height control....or 2, 150w's, bar or board

Have you ever tried the SE3000 in a 2x2 tent? I’m looking to getting that light and wondering if anyone has had any success with that light in a tent that small .

Yep i have that exact setup you need the 28 by 28 it won't fit a normal 2x2 u need the little bigger 2x2

@@RIBBY_BOY was gonna say, that's a little too much power for 2x2..... word is, you need 30-40w per square foot, depending on your light.... I believe the se3000 pulls 300w at 100%, so I think you are ok for up to a 3x3 with that light.

Running a aw200se at the moment in a 2×4. Been wanting a bigger light, this would be perfect. Is the extra 100 watts worth it?

30-40w per square foot depending on light.... rule of thumb with new leds.... so yeah, 200w is about 100w short of ideal unless you just want to run one side of the tent..... I'd run 2, 200w qboards in a 2x4, and if it was too much I'd never run the lights above 80%, making them last long and getting better efficiency..... there;s some nice 150w lights out there now too, so just fill that other side in with one of them, if you already have a 200w in there, plenty. better height control too.

Hey bro quick question...Im about to start my first couple autos im going to try and i had got one of those budget (well reviewed) grow lights on amazon for my small 2x2x4 tent for like $50 bucks, I'm trying to do it on a budget but i see the spider farmer 1000 is only like $80 on sale. Think there is the big a difference where its worth the headache of the return and extra money? They say those budget lights are pretty decent but i was wondering if you think there would be a significant difference and a big upgrade? Thanks Ribby! I have been watching a ton of your videos the past 2 months after growing my first outdoor plant that came out really decent for my first attempt lol. Appreciate any advice bro!
