We moved to Chandler, Arizona in 1984. The first time I saw Wallace And Ladmo I was an instant fan. Because, believe me I had seen other "kids" shows in different parts of the country and NOTHING compared to W&L! Here was a show that really had such a sense of humor that adults could enjoy along with the kids. You just didn't see that anywhere else! They weren't just cartoon jockeys with puppets!

Pity I never got to watch Wallace and Ladmo in Tucson, only got to watch them when visiting friends in Phoenix and see them live at the State fair grounds during the State fair. Shows like this sadly cannot exist in todays PC and WOKE culture. I miss these guys greatly.

I can't stop smiling. They came to our school one time back in 73 or 74. I still remember that day. They also brought Alvin Adams from the Suns

* I'm in my late 60s now, my home is an accumulation of a lifetime. Somewhere in my multitude of boxes, I have about a dozen audio cassette tapes of complete episodes, some with some commercials, all with the cartoons. I did have a handful of episodes on reel-to-reel audio tapes, but they were stolen. Mind you, those episodes were from the 1960s. Last time I listened was when Ladmo died in 1994. As I recall, KUTP Channel 45 showed episodes during the later 1990s. I recorded some of them on VHS. Dunno where those tapes are. *

Wow that's great. Thanks for bringing back some good old memory's. We used to watch the show all the time and my brother won a drawing contest so we got to be on the set and we both got Ladmo bags what a thrill that was.

I'm jealous that you got a Ladmo Bag! :P I used to watch the show when I'd visit my Aunt Lily and Uncle Tony. They loved the show and watched every day, even though they were in their 60's and 70's.

Wow! Thanks for posting! I enjoyed watching the show. I didn't know that someone was in it that posted the video. You were a little cutie, Allison. I'm glad you got to be on the show and still have your Ladmo bag. I grew up in Phoenix too and loved watching these guys as a little boy. Thanks for sharing.

I had this on a VHS tape and converted it to digital. As far as I know there aren't any archives anywhere. There's a pretty active Facebook group, they might know if there's another resource out there.

When I was a kid in Arizona in the 1980's, I really, really wanted a Ladmo bag because I wanted to know what was in them. When I finally found out what they had in those bags, I was a bit disappointed. As I recall, there were things like chips and snacks that people could buy at convenience stores. Not quite as magical as what I imagined.
