Kunming City, China? That is incredibly evil, cruel and irresponsible that they got the Asiatic Black Bear as a tiny pup, so it had zero training by it's mother how to survive in the wild, but the gov released it into the wild after they confirmed it was in good health, where it would surely not be able to survive. They could have at least sent it to a zoo anywhere in the world.

Great Story. I sure got a chuckle over how that hard-working Sue Wee Wee bought a bear instead of a dog while taking a vacation on her annual leave. Did not see that coming even after learning that "Little Black" grew too fast, walked on two legs, and preferred fruit. I'm so glad he lived in a little dog house in the kitchen rather than the backyard since he didn't joke much about his food especially those noodles. Boy oh boy, he sure did have a healthy appetite. As an observant and thoughtful person who takes her time to analyse issues before drawing conclusions, it was refreshing that she noticed how Little Black never barked. What a twist in the story when she noticed that he grew up to 3 feet tall and ended up weighing an impressive 300 pounds. Of course the most relevant part of this story was the fact that the vet arrived at 9am on a Saturday morning. We all know the poor fella was placed in a small cage at the vet's clinic to produce bear bile split 50-50 between National Geographic and the Vet. When they grow old, those four kids will have many stories to tell their grandchildren about the Tibetan Mastiff that was actually a Himalayan Moon Bear. This will surely become a Wee Wee legend throughout Kunming City in China. Thank you Internet for sharing this fine story.

That's a good point. I imagine there's little danger to the bear in the wild even though he'd been domesticated. The worst he could face might be a natural enemy. There are no clowns, let alone clowns with guns that would have any interest to harm any animal (other than self-defense), wandering around the city/village aimlessly with nothing to do in China. EVERYBODY has something to do all of the time in China. The worst thing any nation can have is too much 'youthful exuberance'. There's a time and a place for everything.

If you wait from a bear to do something wrong,that would be VERY wrong,because big animals do big mistakes...eat the children of family,for example...
@nadinekeating32553 жыл бұрын
Yeah. The bear didn't hurt or kill the family YET! Wild animals are not predictable...They haven't been domesticated! This bear could have lived peacefully with the family for years then one day attack and kill one of the kids. Bears can accidently kill you just by "playing" with you. A human has no chance against a bear. Atleast if your pet dog attacks you, you will likely be able to defend yourself, and the average pet dog isn't going to kill a human. What if this bear got loose and attacked a group of kids? To think that anyone should be able to keep a bear as a pet is the most ridiculous thing I've heard!

This could happen. Recently a man in my town brought a kitten into the local vet. He found the animal along side the road and rescued it before it got hit by a car. He was going to give the kitten to his wife, but decided against it. When he took the animal to the vet, they told him it was a bobcat, not a domestic house cat. The vet found an animal rescuer to take the animal.

sooooo, the whole time they had this dog they never bothered to take it to the vet
@trevorforrester31425 жыл бұрын
No.. maybe they didn't.... And?.. why take it to the vet if there's nothing wrong with it?... if the thing doesn't act sick or hurt , then no reason to take it to the doctor. Maybe once when it's little to get a rabies shot, but that's it. A dog ... a cat... squirrel, or whatever was created to live in harsh conditions outside.... thus the fur and thick skin... creating a standard that pets must be brought inside in certain weather is a HUMAN thing.... If they didn't have an owner like 70% of the other animals in the wild ...They would do just fine. ... Taking an animal to the Vet every time some little thing happens is also a HUMAN thing. and is the business of the owner as to whether or not the owner wants to take the animal to the vet, but it's quite a different thing for people to create a standard for themselves and then impose that standard on other people, in an attempt to make it "the norm" and then call it abuse if someone doesn't do what they would do...We had pets when I was growing up and we NEVER took them to the vet for check ups, It's a pet ... not meant to cost the owner thousands of dollars to own... Our pets stayed out doors all year around, and guess what?? They all died of old age. But just like everything else,,, people take everything way too far and our country just loves to make laws that end up making everything not worth it. People used to own dogs and they used them to track, hunt, round up cattle etc... and it stayed outside... Now days they own Poofy who sits around inside the house doing nothing except constantly barking etc... just so the owner can yell and scream "No Poofy! Bad Dog!" and God forbid you let the thing out by itself to just run like an animal should.. That's where the abuse is.

This reminds me of a movie story : couple adopts a 5 year old girl, notices her weird behavior, makes enquiry on her past, then calls the police -- the girl is actually a 30 year old dwarfed woman who is a serial killer .

@Cameron Caines 23 (STUDENT) - Cameron, they faked people out with the picture they posted. The picture is of a dog, not of a bear. The dog is a Mexican breed called Xoloitzcuintli, or Xolo for short. It is a hairless dog. Google it and you will see. Then google Asiatic Black bear cub and you will see it looks nothing like a dog.
