This episode was GOLD. Wallace Spearmon was like that dude at the house party that stepped outside for a breath of fresh air, got to talking and then the entire party became an outside concert with everybody tuning in to his every word😂.

We Jamaicans love Wallace, he was robbed of his 2008 Olympic silver medal in the 200 meters but made up for it with the bronze in the 2009 World Championships fastest 200 meter ever. A friend of Usain is a friend of ours.😎🏁

The rule says that if you run on the line AND IMPEDE ANOTHER ATHLETE will disqualify you from the race. They disqualified Spearmon and Martina from the race and they were way ahead of everyone else in the race. As a Jamaican, I think they saw the friendship and wasn't supporting it.😎🏁

This platform was much needed; these giving flowers to all time greats, lack of acknowledging the greats, behind the scenes competitive nature beyond track was as rumored. Justin; I had the pleasure of meeting you and your beautiful family this year (2004). This episode proved every single word I expressed to you and why Track and Field needed to see more of you. Wallace; truly left some even great performances out there. I live T&F everyday; you gentlemen are so correct in the revealing side of business. There is a lot of wisdom not being passed down; not just to the elite; but to the many who embrace athletics. I often see great former T&F Athletes who are not getting their flowers, I quietly tell them how their greatness has touch me and the thousands of athletes and their parents. We need the current T&F speaking heads (Alto/Sanya) be less technical and more communication driven for the average fan with their platform. Just like was stated midway in this episode: many of greats spent most of their childhood and early part of their adulthood in track. They should be given the platform (retirement, USATF conferences) to give an account and promote track way more than what is given. This was truly GREATNESS and a great start in improving T&F positive platform. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! Train Hard, Eat Right, Hydrate!!!

I factchecked - Officially fastest footspeed hit by a human is 27.78 by Usain Bolt in 2009. Unofficially at the 2008 Olympic trials Tyson Gay recorded at 10m split of 0.8 which is equal to 27.96 mph - as you said this was wind assisted (+4.1). I don’t want take anything away from Tyson but the only sources I can find after 10minutes of searching are two KZbin videos and a Reddit comment. Also apparently some fossilised footprints suggest an aboriginal Australian man 20,000 years ago hit about 23mph in wet mud which has been interpreted to be maybe faster with spikes on a rubber track…
