Actually, it was for Yuji to learn the basics. Think of it like this. Yuji learned only a few things from someone as powerful as Gojo. Meanwhile, he learned a lot from Todo, who is someone lesser than Gojo, but knowledgeable enough to teach him the ropes. For Choso, his Blood Manipulation Technique is at the peak of all its users, adding the fact that he's part cursed spirit, so whatever he does just clicks. Kamo, however, knows the basics down to the book, so he's more than capable of teaching Yuji. To cut this short, Yuji was taught by the talented and learned only a few. When he learned from the bookworms, he's able to pick up faster.
