I love y’all’s video on the lake you was fishing at. I’m a live bait fisherman. I live in south Alabama and have a fishing cabin at lake Eufaula between Alabama and Georgia. I’ve caught a lot of strips. They call them while bass and hybrid bass. We have yellow perch too but seems like we don’t have as many as you do. We use minnows fishing for them. My niece lives in Wisconsin and would love to fish for walleye when ever I go up there. I did catch a yellow perch about a foot long on minnow in lake Eufaula back in April

Looks like you miss the spot to add a picture of your jig setup in editing. 0:16 and 2:29 Just wondering how you did it to look natural. Were you using 3/4 oz?
@thundermistlures3 жыл бұрын
to get the most natural look, you want to rig your plastic perfectly - this video will explain exactly what I mean: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYibiYOXmrqhrtU

Evo, it looks like you only did the lift drop and slow crank, with one, and did more of a sweeping drag , and misc., inconsistent motions , with the split tail version. Should the Split tail pretty much be dragged only?
@thundermistlures Жыл бұрын
...you can use all of those approaches...if the walleye are not aggressive, then the drag technique is best :)

are you looking for a certain depth to target the walleye?
@thundermistlures3 жыл бұрын
..it depends - in the river, typically shallower but in the lake, it could be shallow or very deep, so it depends on the body of water you are fishing and their related depths, along with the bait fish patterns
@brandonmclean583 жыл бұрын
@@thundermistlures oh I meant in the Niagara river, do you have more luck up shallow, say less than 10 feet or in the deeper sections that are 20+ feet or something in between? I know the lower gets a lot deeper than that, I dont know if people actually fish the 100 ft drop off, that would be interesting though. thanks!
@thundermistlures3 жыл бұрын
@@brandonmclean58 In the upper, if the water is clear, then it's 15 - 30 feet...if the water is murky, then you can target the shallower water, as shallow as 6 feet :)

Hello Adk Beau - I know you have asked this question on other videos, and I respect your opinions and questions, but I have, however, replied to these questions in the past, so I'm not sure why you keep asking? However, I am happy to reply one more time and I kindly ask that you please respect my reply as a final answer to these questions....Thank you for your interest in our company, however, it is proprietary and not filmable...perhaps try asking Berkely or some other company? Our Camera person does not want to be filmed nor introduced, same with my family - so we respect this. This channel is to share good times on the water, fishing - or sharing recipes, or tips on terminal tackle, rods, reels, etc. I hope this feedback helps and if you ever have any fishing-related questions, I will do my best to answer them. I hope that 2022 is off to a fantastic start for you and I wish you all the best of good fishing :)
