20 years ago we took our daughter to a Disney Bear in the Big Blue House show in the center court. It was nice remembering the days...

Sure is. Yeah I loved it. I was so disappointed because I was there just before Christmas and took a couple of photos. We went back January 3rd and I was hoping the decorations would still be up because they made it look so nice and festive. I was a bit disappointed how fast they took the Christmas decorations down.

MANY malls in the DC area are doing well. I think it's safe to say that ALL of the major ones do well like Tyson's, Pentagon City and Springfield Mall. Maryland's Montgomery Mall and Wheaton Plaza do well too. Despite an unfortunately persistent crime problem, PG Mall in College Park does OK too. The Subway recently connected the rest of the DMV to Sterling VA. So many more people will take a look at this Mall. Great post! The movie theater in DTC looks fantastic. 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇨🇳🇨🇳👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I live next to this mall. Covid has hit its businesses hard. The old Lord and Taylor is now a Covid vaccine center for Loudoun County. The Sears service center has closed. The kiosks in the hallways have disappeared. Hopefully the mall will rebound when the state restrictions are lifted at the end of May 2021.

One of the malls in your videos I have actually been to. We always went here in the early 2000's with our cousins when he visited our granny in Northern VA. Good times. Plenty of stores to shop in.

Lord and Taylor was basicly a high-end department store mostly geared towards women. Lots of high-end women's clothing and shoes As well as makeup and perfumes. A small selection of men's and children's clothing could also be found in the outskirts of the lower level...

If you want to see a Dead Mall it is the Oakwood Mall in Enid Oklahoma In On the property is a closed pizza Hut, and across the street is a closed United Supermarket and what is left of an old Kmart, some of it has been turned into Harbor Freight and a Tractor Supply

It really makes me sad that malls are dying out. I love working at the mall, getting to know people, my customers, etc. This mall looks so much like Carolina Place Mall in NC.
@RTPTechGuy3 жыл бұрын
I remember when that mall opened in 1999. It was a pretty big deal since before then, those of us living in eastern Loudoun County (Ashburn in my case) had to drive quite a distance to Fair Oaks or Tysons Corner.
