I rode the Wallke H7 dual motor eBike to work and back in all its drive modes and calculated max range in each mode. I'll do it again after some mods in the near future. I also give my opinions (a review of sorts) on this really cool electric bicycle.
Stay tuned for more fun stuff! I'll be hooking a few viewers up with some Tannus Armour here soon too. I will be doing more content on the H6 Max, H6 ST , X3 Pro and Wallke's new H7. Shoot me a comment if there's something I can help with. Cheers and Thanks for watching!

I made a mistake in the rear wheel drive mileage. It was actually 64.47 mpc. Which is why I stated day 3 was a little better. I can’t read my own writing LOL.

Thanks for the video. My h7’s chain pops off in first gear as soon as I pedal, upon which the chain wraps on the side of the tire and frame and wedged against the sprocket. if you can do a visual on proper chain adjustments; Thanks Tracy

Hi. I personally never use the shifter so haven’t encountered this. I leave it in 7th all the time. On my next ride I’ll shift it down and see. The derailleur has 2 adjustment screws. I’m guessing yours needs to be brought out a touch. Also the can be knocked out of tune in shipping. Some times they have to be bent out a little. If you can suspend the bike with ratchet straps a little off the ground, that would be ideal. These are hard to put in bike stands. Other wise, it’s a matter of, riding tweaking, riding tweaking. I’ll take a look and make a little clip about it. Until then check out a derailleur adjustment video. Usually a half turn one way or the other does the trick.

Just to correct a minor error: you stated on day 1 in PAS 5 and rear wheel drive mode that you rode 24.5 miles using 38% of the battery then computed 67.45 MPC. I calculated 24.5 miles/38% = M/62% so 62 X 24.5 = 38 X M; 1519 = 38M; M = 1519/38; M = 39.97 therefore estimated MPC = 39.97 + 24.5 = 64.47 which is slightly less than your 67.45.

Ugh. And I’m looking at my notes and it says 64.47. Good call. It’d probably help if I didn’t write like a 4th grader lol.

I've learned over the years that roughly every amp hour is usually equal to 1 mi of range on average so the range on this is not that bad considering 60 amp hours and yes I kknow range will be different for everyone but the difference in range is negligible to about 5 mi give or take I have wallke g6 Max and out of all my e-bikes I have owned over the past decade it is by far one of the best Anyways, keep up the good work homie 🤘🏻

Yes indeed. I’m still toying with different combos so I can make an informed video. An 11/34 freewheel works great with the stock chainring. And does a lot! But adding a larger chainring requires adding links. Just gotta figure out how many to make function in low gear and not be floppy in high. Little bit more experimenting to do.

What mirrors did you got the H7. I saw some other reviews saying you can't get the bar end mirrors, but it looks like that is what you have.

@TheE-LightenedArtist 17 күн бұрын
Hi. I put the “Mirrycle” mirrors on my bikes. They’re very adjustable and work great. I only need one on the left side. Just cut a hole in the grip with an exacto knife and stick it in there. You can’t put them on the twist throttle side. I never use one on the right side anyway.

I’m looking at ordering the h7 and I was just wondering what your biggest issues are with it. I’ve been screwed on an electric scooter before where it had little to no support from the company and I don’t want to fall into that again. How would you rate the Wallke company support for its products?
@TheE-LightenedArtist
@TheE-LightenedArtist Ай бұрын
They're a straight from factory deal. So if you have issues then the time difference can throw a curveball for service. Sometimes it's the next day before you get a reply. Many others and I have had great after purchase support. Some folks have had bad experiences tho. I think the language barrier throws some for a loop. If you give them a purchase order number and are articulate about the problem, they'll bend over backwards for you. I get the feeling that the folks who weren't happy were rude in their support requests or didn't articulate the problem. I know a lot more folks who were happy than not.

I actually swapped my tires for shinko 244 because I ride over 500 mi a month and the default tires are only rated for about that (i'm not paying $60-$100 a month for tires) I also do have some issues with PAS settings being glitchy( some modes aren't properly controlled and go into overdrive even when the controller is set to pas only mode) also one other thing is I'm lucky to get 40mi. per charge (i have the single motor version of the H7)
@TheE-LightenedArtist
@TheE-LightenedArtist 2 ай бұрын
Yeah those cst tires are prob the cheapest on the market. I don’t care for them. I’d definitely be doing some gearing upgrades. I think that would mellow out your pas surging and get you a little better range. I’m wondering if your cadence sensor is gummed up a bit? Have you tried cleaning it?

So, do you recommend this bike & should I get the H7 or H9 ??
@TheE-LightenedArtist
@TheE-LightenedArtist 2 ай бұрын
It all comes down to foldability and range. The H9 is a folder and a tube battery can be added. It would be tough to pick it up folded, but might be convenient for storage. I might have been wrong about the ability to get a 60Ah battery for the h7 for now. So it might be stuck at 40ah. I really dig the step throughs. It’s so easy to mount and dismount. I also love the handlebars. I managed to pick it up and put it in the bed of my truck. But it wasn’t fun lol. I rarely fold my bikes and rarely ride more than 25 miles so the H7 might be my new favorite.

@TheE-LightenedArtist
@TheE-LightenedArtist Ай бұрын
What’s your tire pressure? A staffer tire will get better speed. Plus there’s a break in period. It’ll perform better after 100-200 miles. Mine has about 125 and it performs a little better every ride..

@@TheE-LightenedArtist I have it at 29 psi. I hope it performs better after the break in cause every video on KZbin for the h6 max I see they go 33-35 mph. I just hope there is nothing wrong with . Will the battery perform better also after the break in? I only have 10 miles on it right now and the battery was going down fast. I was at 50 % and when you shut it off then turn it on it jumps to 70% but when riding it starts dropping fast.
