Buñuelos! The fried tortilla can be cut into shapes, covered with cinnamon sugar for Christmas. Very festive and delicious! The wallpaper is so gorgeous! Can't wait to see the chandelier in your grand powder room. I've seen many different elegant, dramatic over-the-top and whimsical powder rooms during my part-time catering job. They are like "jewel boxes" in the interior design of the house.

Greetings from Alaska. Bravo on the wallpapering. You did a tremendous job and it looks so posh. Much to nice for a simple bathroom. Lol It reminds me of something you would have seen in a Victorian drawing room. Surrounded by old oak curio cabinets with glass cloche, pots of rare orchids, and a quartet of women in watered silk afternoon dresses sipping India tea. Probably while discussing marriage prospects. Dan's meal was lovely. However I nearly spit out my coffee, (a mortal sin,) when I heard him initially discuss his menu. Smh. Ironically it is my dream (wish) to one day dine at Lalande. However I think I would want it to be a less formal and more casual meal. Maybe a barbeque with the whole group. So i could share the laughter. Congrats to Jerry and everyone. I was sorry to see Hanni leave. She is such an amazing person and should be a permanent fixture of the chateau. Same with Kat, Dana, and so many others. I think if they pulled the same blue color from the background of the wallpaper, and painted the radiators that color, that they would blend in and disappear into the background. The white takes away from the beauty of it all. I also wonder if a lighter paler shade of blue painted on the ceiling would make the ceiling look like you were looking up at the sky. Taking things one step further if you had someone who could paint soft clouds onto that soft blue color on the ceiling. It would complete the look. Maybe Michael Petrick (sp?), could do that kind of look. It looks dreamy already, but that would take it to another level. IMO. Then when you add those crystal chandeliers. Wow. That’s adding the sparkle to it all.

Selmar is also a gifted artist. His portfolio was stunning when he shared it, while being interviewed by Stephanie in a vlog (It was filmed in her bathroom, as they were trying to find a quiet place during a music workshop!). That being said, he may be better at portraits than still life and nature scenes/clouds. I agree about painting the radiator, ceiling and window casing/sill a complimenting blue. It would make the radiator "disappear". I don't envy the artist having to paint the clouds on the ceiling of the loo though! 🤭☁️🎨💙
