That's all marketing. They do it because when it's added to your cart, you're one step closer to checking out. And if you're lucky, they might even send you targeted emails/notifications about the item you added to your cart lol

Was hoping to see PS4 slim 1TB for $149.99-$199.99. Bummer. Back in 2016, Walmart had the PS3 Super Slim 500GB NEW for $149.99 which was one of last batches from the production line. It just my preference to get NEW versus used (since there too many of them in sub par condition). Not ready to spend $500 on the PS5 yet. I’m still playing the PS3 btw
