Thank you for the demonstration. I have the same pole saw. The chain on mine unfortunately seems to slip off every once in awhile. I have to keep adjusting the tension. The red outer dial sometimes seems to do nothing. Not sure if I got a defective model.

I missed the great deal but just picked one up and went to town on my pine tree. Worked just fine. More powerful than my electric chainsaw.

I see them clearance $50 at stores now. I'm going to put like a 14" bar on mine and see what happens lol. should work fine. I think the 8" is too short :)

bobspurloc Cool. Yes I had to step on a little giant ladder to get way up to around 20 feet or so but was able to get the job done. Overall still better and cheaper than Depot entry level brands and prices

Cool. 8" chains are on clearance now also $9 and lower. I like getting them clearance instead of sharpening lol. the sharpening files are on clearance also

This worked well on oak however the 8in takes a while for large branches. Is it possible to exchange to the 10 inch or will it only accept the 8inch .

lol I put a 14" on mine.... only prob is 14" is going to rotate slower than 8". I have a pile of 10" chains just waiting to find a cheap 10" bar lol kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXLZgoiLicaGmpY

Yours seems to be cutting a lot better then mine
@bobspurloc4 жыл бұрын
is your chain saw too tight? I dont know how tight its supposed to be but too tight will slow it down and cut crappy. also Im cutting pine. I think pine is a pretty soft wood?
@grindhard43124 жыл бұрын
@@bobspurloc I'm going to try some adjusting of the chain this weekend and see how that goes. As far as the wood I'm not sure what it is. These look like shrubs around my home and it struggles to cut it. Over hang from tree branches that I wanted to get rid of. If it doesn't cut any better I'm going to get a refund because I paid $100 for mine at Walmart.

any luck?

The chain should be tight enough to turn by hand smoothly. Make sure you take the battery out.

They should make a 40v then I'd be in
@bobspurloc4 жыл бұрын
that would be crazy powerful I put a 14" bar on my pole saw just because LOL... It would be cool to grab the 40v hypertough setup off something and add it to this pole saw LOL... hrmmmm... . I just noticed HART has a 40volt saw 14" chain.
@felixvikes284 жыл бұрын
@@bobspurloc pole saw or just chain saw? because hyper tough already makes that. Maybe black Friday will be nice for that line since they are pushing the new "Hart" products.
@bobspurloc4 жыл бұрын
Hart Chain Saw 40v 4ah, the Hart stuff with the 4-5ah batteries are pretty nice. they are actually Ryobi. they of course made the Ryobi and Hart batteries with different notches.

I saw the 40 volt today at Walmart.
