Much improved! I didn't realize the 2007's were so different until I got an original. I was disappointed in my 2007 after that. This is more like it. You've got me convinced now to get the flocking machine & make it right. Side note- I gave my son's the Sea Adventurer & Air Adventurer to play with... The weak 2007 flocking lasted about 3 days.
@TheSkullReviews5 жыл бұрын
Thank you, yeah some of them are better than others, this one was pretty poorly flocked. I agree with you, the originals were way better, but I'm still very happy to have these Walmart joes, they were awesome for the price.

Absolutely.... I totally would have re-flocked that Joe and you did a great job. Nice work at following the painted beard line. On a few of my own, I went above the painted beard line to give him a more, fuller beard, but this guy looks good.

Excellent work! Looks much better. I think your fiber blend was perfect. When I first saw that figure, I thought it was the Meijer's edition that came out about a year or two prior to the Walmart release. Those had really thin flockings on them. But the Walmart editions weren't much better. Great job! Thanks for sharing.

@@TheSkullReviews Ya I don't know how these guys like RetroBlasting and Micheal Mercy get so many up so fast, I guess they don't have real jobs during the day or they must have other people helping them. I plan to post more videos over Christmas as I will have more vacation time and I am currently setting up a giant n scale train diorama.

Very cool. It would be such a neat gift is Hasbro decided to put out another set of these guys. If they had allowed Toy Story to make use of Joe as they originally and afterwards have asked we could have had a real boom of Joe things.

By the way I have known vintage flocks that I've seen that had odd colours like blue and green pieces in them for both the American and British versions of flocked head figures.

Did you use a paintbrush to keep the glue from being too strong in one area and not too piled up in another? I've had flocking jobs where the head is a great flock but the beard not as good. But then again I was only using the shaking of the bottle for the static charge for the flocking also.
@reepacheirpfirewalker86294 жыл бұрын
Thank God for Lyles help for us to learn how to do this and get it done the way that we'd like to have it.
@TheSkullReviews4 жыл бұрын
Yes I use a paint brush to spread the glue more evenly, I started with the bottle method at first myself.
