@Jennie Adams I went Carnivore shortly after the pandemic. I noticed after I had to start wearing a mask every day for a 14hr shift in a high stress high pace environment that I began having issues with my ability to smell. It was like a light switch would be turned off and on interment. Sometimes I would be able to smell and others not at all. I was tested but never was positive. I gradually worsened until I just couldn't smell. At night I would have severe congestion in my nose and chest. When the mandate ended I slowly got better and currently my smell is like a light switch some days it works but most days it is off. I have nighttime congestion still in the form of a crazy cough until after I have woken up. Once I am up it is noticeably better. I have lost over 150 lbs. I feel overall great but I just want to be able to smell and get a good night's sleep unhindered by congestion. I believe strongly that me being forced to wear a mask all day is the reason behind this. Any thoughts?

This channel is so refreshing (and realistic). How to be mostly carnivore, on a real-life family budget. A lot of the carnivore "purists" (or downright cultists) act like you have to source from a local farm, raise the chickens yourself, or go to a high-end butcher, but that just isn't feasible for the average family; especially in this absurdly inflated economy.

Over this summer my daughter and I did a driving trip with friends, from Oregon to S. Carolina. On the way we mainly at eggs, beef sticks, cheese, pork rinds, and if we stopped at a fast food place, I followed how you order food shown in your short videos. I couldn't believe how much weight and inflammation I lost . And for sitting a long length of time, my joints didn't hurt as much. Now I have to figure out how to do this at home while feeding others too. I'm also glad to see that you eat other meant types other than beef. Thanks.

As a farmer, who raises livestock. I just want to suggest getting in touch from a farmer local to you, that you could then purchase beef, pork etc. Whichever they may raise, and you could get a whole, half or quarter of an animal. Not only would you then know where your food is coming from, you would save money in the long run and the meat taste amazing!! Not to mention you would always have meat on hand!

I love your ‘what to eat out as a carnivore series’ and now this shopping video!!! Thank you for making the carnivore or ketovore diet DOABLE. You are so practical and in touch with life. You remind me of my hero, Dr Berry. Eat the best quality you can afford and Walmart is cheaper than most. I hate the influencers who shame you into thinking if it’s not grass fed, grass finished and panda massaged, you are doomed. I can’t afford that stuff. Also you explain the science of READING LABELS for ingredients, this is so important and often overlooked. I love Two Good yogurt and everyone else insists on whole milk, unflavored, sour yuck. My daily dessert is one of these with 1 tablespoon of shredded coconut and 1 tablespoon of chopped nuts. Once a week I add 1 tablespoon of stevia sweetened chocolate chips. LOL after one year sugar free eating, I cannot tolerate ice cream anymore (diarrhea). Keep up the great work and delete the naysayers. If the woke can cancel, the truth seeker should also. Praying for you and the family, may the Lord protect you and provide for all your needs. Blessings from PA! 😊🙏

About the GV frozen beef patties. We had been using them frequently and loved them! But recently they have been cooking up different and causing me severe gastric distress. I do have an autoimmune disease which makes me extremely sensitive 😮💨 HOWEVER we discovered a Sam's Choice frozen boxed alternative that is 100% Angus beef 1/4 pound patties. They're $16 and some change for 12 of them here locally. And they are a game changer!!! My goodness they cook up so plump and juicy and the flavor is out of this world! Grilled or pan fried they really are excellent for frozen beef. Thank you for your carnivore hauls! I learn so much from them😊 Carni on!

@michelehafthudson24382 жыл бұрын
Where do you find those, Deborah?
@deborah25922 жыл бұрын
@@michelehafthudson2438 I get them at my local Harris Teeter, a large groc chain in the mid-Atlantic. I would just ask your butcher at your favorite groc store. They are sometimes called "Delmonico steaks". I don't have the room to be buying 1/4 sides of beef etc but am thinking of buying a "chuck roll" (about 20 lbs) to cut up at home and get a bunch of chuck roasts and steaks from, if I can get a good price on it. INFO: per THE SPRUCE The chuck roll is a large (approximately 20 pounds) boneless subprimal piece made up of the long section of meat between the ribs and the backbone. A skilled butcher can remove the ribs and backbone in one piece, and this piece of meat can then be divided in half. The section that overlays the ribs is usually used for ground beef, and what is left, after being trimmed and squared up, is called the chuck roll. The chuck roll actually has some tender muscles in it, including a few inches of the longissimus dorsi, which make excellent grilling steaks. In fact, this is the same muscle from which we get rib-eye steaks. But because there are quite a few tough muscles in the chuck roll too, one of the most common techniques is to separate the top section called the chuck eye (which contains the tender longissimus dorsi muscle) from the bottom section known as the chuck under the blade, which can be sliced thin for a stir-fry.

Thanks for doing this video. I really appreciate seeing carnivore shopping somewhere other than Costco. I live 80 miles from the nearest Costco and don't have the ability to store meat in large quantities so Costco isn't an option for me. Just a note on the black and white packages in the meat department...the black packages are Angus beef, which is a type of cow. Same with the Wagyu beef. The white packages don't specify what type of cow the meat comes from but the Angus is definitely my favorite too.

Hey Laura, love your channel! 💕 Watching this video I was wondering if you knew about using pork rinds as a "breading" for chicken or pork chops. I found a recipe earlier this year while I was doing the keto diet and all it requires is a bag of plain crushed up pork rinds (best done in food processor), and a cup of grated or shredded parmesan cheese, The binder is egg, mayo and a little water. Once coated in the breading just bake in the oven🤤 it has become one of my favorite things to make now lol ❤️

I've been spoiled by Wild Fork Food's ground beef. I buy the 72/28 for $3.88/lb and it's hands down the best ground beef, to the point that I don't really like other ground beef any more. They deliver and only have a $35 minimum order. I can only buy 10 lbs of ground beef at a time, and that gets me just a little over $35, so I just regularly buy 10 lbs at a time, occasionally adding something else in. A lot of things I like to pick out myself, so mostly I just buy the ground beef.
