I agree with this description of the experience. I’ve only used Walmart one time but it was the easiest to use. I’ve used Harris Teeter many times and tried to use Kroger but the app was to "user unfriendly". I am not a Walmart shopper. I dislike the store, I dislike this service, and I hate having to wait in a long line to pay. But the grocery pick up is more than acceptable… In fact it is the best of any I’ve used! I PLAN TO USE WALMART GROCERY PICKUP AGAIN!!!!

How do you prove its YOU picking up the groceries? Do they scan a receipt? Ask for proof of ID? What if you only have a PC and no mobile connection? Can you provide a copy of an online receipt, or do you have to show the receipt in the app? You skipped that step.

What if you take the city transportation or walk, because you don't have a vehicle yourself? Do they let you pickup inside the store when you don't have a vehicle?

Out of stocks: sometimes the picker isn't the brightest. If you want to change a substitute, you might be able to get them to do it if you call ahead. I've had some cooperative reps at the curb also, that have swapped a sub. Otherwise you have to take/leave the sub. If you leave it, make sure they remove the price before you swipe. And yes, you can pay at curb. Here's how. Payment: Even if you don't have an EBT or Snap card, you can select that as payment method and still pay with credit/debit at the curb. I like this method because if something goes wrong with the order, the only resolve could be trying to talk 800walmart into a promo code for a future order, to make up the overcharge, since the store level can't do anything about it, even managers. Since out of stocks are now common. the ebt method is best. Even if you've put it in cart and checked out, you might not get it if it's not there when the go to pick it.

I'm not a big fan of Walmart substitutions. My Walmart requires you to speak to an associate upon pick up about the substitutions you don't want. Makes no sense because then you have to search through bags to return items.. So then I have to search through my email to list off the substitutions and then help find them in the bags and then the associate takes back the items to return. I've returned items and not gotten the refund back on my card on more then one occasion. The associate tells me to call the Walmart customer service number and file a complaint. The representative takes down my complaint. That's all they do is take your complaint.. It's a crap set up for the Walmart in my location..

Try Kroger's pickup too... it was out before Wal-Mart (I believe). We've used it a few times... pretty good. $5 charge though.

I started picking up when covid happened. I have a 3 & 4yr old so doing pick up has saved me SOOOOO much money. The only issue was I had to drive past McDonald’s to pick up 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ I was offered 30 day free trial for delivery with Walmart if I took a survey about the app so I did that. I haven’t been a pick up customer since because delivery has been WONDERFUL. No buying stuff I don’t need, no pulling babies out the house and no McDonald’s. It was like 100.00 after the free 30 days and if you have a Walmart credit card you can get points.

I used the Walmart.com on-line Same day Grocery Order ($30.00 minimum) with free store pick-up for the first time today, 11/09/20. The site is user-friendly with photos of available items and prices. Customers may start and add to their list before completing and charging their orders. Customers are given a 1-hour window to schedule their choice of pick up times (I chose between 3:00 & 4:00PM) & emailed when their order is ready to be picked up (my email came at 3:00 PM). Customers reply when they're on their way. Upon arrival customers park & call. I live 4 minutes away and my order arrived immediately. All items on my list were bagged and in perfect condition and placed in my trunk. Very impressive service.

Great videos, thank you!! I'm curious to see what your order was like when you unbagged it at home, were there dented cans, tattered packaging, veggies in good shape, etc. ? My Walmart's vegetables look like they fell off the truck more than twice and go bad almost immediately. Several times I've had to return frozen meats that revealed they were spoiled before purchase. This is common among many Walmarts I've shopped at over the years, and the problem is present throughout most all their stores where you can see (usually at customer service) carts full of things comingled like milk (sweating as its warming), toys, clothing, housewares waiting to be retuned to their departments, or warm meat left sitting long enough to go warm on the bread shelf, brown bologna sitting with its living relatives in the lunch meat section. I'm careful when I shop, checking condition and dates, so I wonder if they are too when they fill your order. And I'm curious if you've used their service regularly, and if so, what has your experience been like. If you feel open to it maybe you would do a video for us on these questions. Personally I feel safer with Kroger despite any inconveniences outside of product quality. Sorry, my concerns are no reflection on you, your video was of much interest to me and now, I may actually try it. Again, thank you!! Hope others will share comments if they have experiences.

I liked your video. Thank you. The only thing that I found uncomfortable about watching your video was the vocal fry. Otherwise, it was a good video IMO.
