A few years ago, Walmart, very briefly sold a different type of discbound Planner, nine discs, called the glam planner. Same issues, the quality of paper, etc. wasn’t quite the same as HP but just like this new pen and gear line they were more affordable and had accessories contained with them. I don’t think they were a huge seller because I only sold one or two styles and didn’t restock. Thank you for this flip through!

@@bestiefswlady5251 I actually really loved the Glam Planners and used the purple cover from that line for a year or two. I still have some of the horizontal planner in my stash, too. It was a great planner, better quality than this Pen + Gear one.

I have this planner. The pages do not turn as well on these disc. They do turn better using HP disc. I may use this as my work planner.

I’m located in Canada and obviously we have Walmart but….. for some reason we get only limited pen + gear items. They had a travellers notebook in US and I’ve been looking for it 3-4 years. I love this planner and I would buy. I know a lot of planners like Monday start but I hate that. Sunday start for me always as most North American calendars do. I doubt if I’ll see this in Edmonton but I’ll try to watch for it

Good luck finding it. I don't always find the Pen + Gear things that other KZbinrs show, so I think it's based on the store and not the location...? I don't know for sure!

@@AimtoPlan the Canadian Walmart online is truly horrible. Third party sellers cut in and makes price triple but I did look for pen+gear and there’s very little available

I wish you would have done a pen test! That paper looks too thin for my liking.

It's VERY thin! I would only use ballpoint pen on it. Black gel ink has faint shadowing on the other side.

Yes! Great idea! I use a Happy Planner dashboard planner for a preplanner/brain dump so don't need another one, but it would be perfect with just pen to paper.
