i was looking at all my options, but settled for this speaker because I did not want to break the bank. I got this at Walmart for $119. Let me tell you, I love it. if you're a super pro audio tech, then go get something nicer. if you just want to jam to your favorite songs, this speaker is 100% enough for everyman needs. the LED's look nice, my daughters love the lights. my phone connected immediately, no problem. some people say the battery doesn't last that long. in my use, I charged it up to 100%, then I used it for 3 hours and put it away without charging again. used it the next day a couple hours, put it away without charging. waited until the next weekend and used it again a couple hours. so for me this is fine. and that was with the LED's going. I noticed that it was still at about half charge according to the screen indicator. I guess I should mention that I did not use it at max volume, probably at 60%. go for it, these are nice. if you have the money, you can get 2 of these and pair them. it will play stereo sound splitting between right and left speaker and you get double the juice. nice!! for me one is enough.

@@jefemuga416 I recommend to everyone to use the GRECELL T-1000 POWER STATION and connect all 4 of the Onn 2nd generation party speaker. They are really 🔊 loud bass if faced backwards in a corner wall. I take all 4 to the beach and the battery power station all it uses is 25% battery. Remember, you want 100% full power and loudness so that is the best recommendation for you. You will not be disappointed at all. Those are floor speakers because you appreciate more the bass. Unless you are putting all 4 or 2 close to a wall, to get a PVC PIPE that will hook from back respirator and with a big built horn facing forward so the 🔊 bass will sound Cristal clear. There are ways for you to enjoy the Cristal loud voice,tweeter and bass. Like I said I have all 4 fr $119 each and is fun!!!

I actually have that same speaker. The sound is amazing especially the bass. The only bad thing is the battery doesn’t last as long as advertised.

It doesn't look too bad is something you say about something that looks bad but not too bad! I don't think those words apply to this speaker ! Cause this speaker looks awesome, and sounds great!

@@joselaurel9496 You are right. It is definitely a good speaker, but I did not expect it to be good. I get a lot of speakers and never post the review because they turn out to be bad. That is probably why I said it's not bad. I was honestly surprised.

@jheis45 The onn speaker sounds pretty good, and it does have some decent bass. For the price, just grab one and try it out. They may even have a display in the store where you can hear it. My store has it.

I had two of these speakers before having two of them definitely does make a difference. However, for the money, I think they’re great for a garage right now at Walmart. They are $119. I have seen them on sale for $99 but about two weeks after I got these Walmart had the JBL encore on sale for $147 each so yeah I took these back and got a pair of the JBL encores lol. I can tell you that both of my JBL encore’s are about the same volume as these these may actually be a tad bit louder, but not much but the JBL encore has a better high-end and definitely a better low end and definitely overall quality is better but for the money, these are really not a bad buy both of these in stereo sound pretty good so I think it’s worth the money. I have seen other comparison videos between this and the JBL 120s and not only does the JBL’s have a better sound and better bass but they have a better sound stage when you walk off axis from the ONN speakers you can tell the sound drops off as in with the JBL. I can walk a little to the side and the sound stage is wider, but you gave a pretty good assessment of what these speakers are about as I said I took them back because the encore were on saleso I jumped on that after I refunded both of these

I agree. I think the .onn is louder than the Encore with flat EQ but lacks deep bass. Maybe I will do that comparison. Thanks for giving your overview, I agree.
